KM hopefully your pain will resolve when she gets a bit bigger, hope it eases soon! Have you tried the rite aid hydrogel pads in between feeds? Best from the fridge apparently..

With the LC, first I went to MAMA in flemington, Medicare do a rebate in the first 6 weeks post partum. So I went to them twice..then my MCHN gave me the number of the council LC who run group days for 3-4 mums, so I've been there twice, I also called my hospital breastfeeding clinic, you can go there for 6 weeks after too! Went there twice.. Joined ABA, went to a meeting that was at someone's house around the corner, the counsellor had good advice and sometimes there will be an LC present. The hospy and council are free

Verity is 5 weeks old motherwillbe.
It's been an interesting 5 weeks and just from googling I've found out so many things I never knew existed like infant gaviscon lol for reflux. Not that she needs it but its good to know its there.

    Hi Girls,
Not sure if there in every area, but I was told by my heath nurse of a government Programe called silk nurse. I had two visits, but I don't think there was a limit. Where a LC came to my house to help me breast feed. It was free of charge. It is open in any new mum having trouble feeding. I would think they would be available in other areas around Australia, But not sure.
adden, So happy for you have Ella will be home on Friday.
SL, Thinking of you. Hoping your doing ok.
    Kel x
