Well it's Sunday night...only 5 more sleeps until day of c-section if that's the way we are going...2 more sleeps til we find out! I can't believe we're nearly a week overdue and I'm having no niggles to suggest labour is imminent! Weird!

Boobs are so sore and I was almost in tears last night over the pain and frustration of it. Dh had been great too and it was hard for him cause there is nothing he can do. I'm using shields as well but it still hurts a bit even with them . I can remember the same pain with ds and that I just pushed through the pain and it eventually went but I can't remember how long it took. Has anyone gone through this and if so how long did it take?
I wish I new when the pain would end,I'm crying with pain and frustration last two nights also pain through the shield. What really helps tho is putting lansinoh under the shield, when the nipple is stretched out then take out the shield. I find it helps, Jaan won't open his mouth wide enough otherwise as was used to bottle teats and it seems to pinch without the ointment. Avoid bottles if you can girls if you want to BF! At least for first 6 weeks. I'm not enjoying BF at all at the mo just need the pain to stop but its ok during the day. I'm going to an ABA meet today hopefully someone can help.

This is my half Indian baby, we joke there was a mix up with IVF as he is so fair... Slowly getting a bit darker now! He also has light grey blue eyes and we both have brown, I guess they might change, weird tho!

He is very cute, but yes fair for half Indian I'm sure his skin will darken. My best friend is very dark and her babies were both very fair, one still is!

I hear ya Beta! 1 week since Myles was born today...

look up the Medela Calma Teat... It mimics the breast so recommended for breast fed bubbies... I'm getting some today cause I can already feel Myles is getting frustrated with the boob after only 5 bottles!

I'm going to see the Lactation Consultant today, hopefully Myles has put on weight so I can stick to the current plan...
