    Hi I was ambitious and wanted to make a fondant cake resembling a present complete with bows etc, I had a panic attack halfway through and made my husband finish it. Some fantastic books at library detailing step by step, found out you just cannot use supermarket colouring have to be from a speciality cake shop, mix drops with a skewer, buy more fondant than you need. Also pat yourself on the back when viewing the finished product you deserve it.
