    Default Hoping this is it....

    Nothing over night I slept like a lump... But my body has felt the urge to get me up at 5am!!! And I am starting to have pain again.... Really hoping this will be it... Two days after a S&S

    Can you go for a walk? Even laps around the yard might help! Otherwise, try the pump while on the fitball

    Go shopping! Ask Atropos, it worked for me! Seriously though, get your hubby or a mate and go for a walk around the block, gravity and movement might help.

    Oh it totally did. I though I was going to have to deliver a baby at our local shops. Would have been totes awkward.

    I had the stretch & sweep done, lost my plug 48 later & went into labour that morning.
    But I was 41 +5

    Just try and relax, your baby will cone when they are ready good luck!

    Just wondering, how come u got a s & s?
    I'm not even sure of all the reasons they do it, my ob did one for me with my first as when I went in for my appt I was having fairly strong contractions and a little dilated (no idea how much it was 3yrs ago) but I'd never do one again as I had the longest labour ever and I blame it on the s & s...

    And me not really being ready. Cus they also broke my waters the day after s & s as still painful contractions but only 1cm further dilation

    All it does is help trigger labour if your body is ready- it wouldn't have made your labour any longer.
    I had one with my last baby- 3 hour labour
    Risfaerie had one with her last- 3 hour labour, if that.
