I'm looking at getting a new car this year and am considering a 2012 plate clearance Captiva.
Anyone have/had one? What did/didn't you like?

We considered one but the reviews are horrible. After talking to people that have owned one and reading online reviews STEER CLEAR!

I've read some horrible reviews too but a friend has one and loves it.

Don't have one but we have a captiva fleet car and it's nice enough (big but not too big) and lovely to drive and no issues so far (8mths) a friend also has one and loves it.

I was looking at buying one. There are mixed reviews. I think each model improves. Do a google search for captiva 2012 reviews

I have one and LOVE IT!! I have four children so we had to buy a 7 seater and price wise it was the best option for us! It's a good size but not too big like some of the other 4 wheel drives out there! Still feels nice and compact! Best of luck!
