Subway is notorious for making people sick. I knew heaps of people that got from subi one and kept getting sick and going back lol clearly they liked spending time in the loo. Yuk

You definitely have to pick your times and days. We go to quite often (DS and DD2 love it there) but never on a rainy day, during school holidays or on a weekend. After 2 is great on a day it stays open later or first thing on a sunny day. DD2 had her 4th birthday party there last month and it was manic but the kids loved it. We've been to heaps of birthday parties there too.

I generally don't really like play centres but suck it up for the kids.

I don't like play centres either. Might sound strange but they are full of germs. Every time DS has gone to one he's ended up sick. Actually all but one time. So I try to avoid them unless it's a birthday party and they are rare too.

I have only been to one twice but I don't like them much either, I try not to touch anything but ds loves it and he sleeps so well after going.
