I was thinking somewhere central. Casual. First idea was a gazebo at Matilda Bay with either a bbq or nibbles.

I have this issue trying to ind somewhere for my Dd's birthday too. She is also a July baby. I did it at home last year and will probably do the same this year.

What about the place where playground is held? I think it's gumblossom hall?

Thanka for your reply. Gumblossom is quite close to where i live but i was thinking somewhere near the city/nedlands/south perth/subi as everyone is scattered around perth.

Hi all well I am so bummed but I'm not going to make it on Wednesday. I run the book fair at the kids' school and have to sit down after ballet classes on Wednesday and staple 318 leaflets to flyers so they can go home with all the kids on Thursday. I've tried to find another time but with DS still having a day sleep the day will disappear and tbh I'm too exhausted to do it at night.

I will be there another Wednesday though. I promise. I hope it's a huge success and you want to have another one soon.

BTW DD2 is 4 and DS1 is 2. He is a tornado so you'll have to look forward to witnessing his destruction next time.

The playground is nice. I think you could find better if your daughter is turning 1 and there aren't many children attending. It doesn't offer a great deal for grown ups (apart from chasing kids around).

Sorry I probably don't have a lot of suggestions as we've only lived here for a bit over 2 years and I've been pregnant or in a baby fog most of that time.

It's like a cafe with indoor and outdoor seating. Indoor is still kid friendly with loads of drawing stuff and toys.
