    Lol that's funny

I like to use BH as my venting tool at times but I guess it wouldn't be hard to piece together who I am if someone knew me. I've left enough clues.

although having lived both north and south I would have to say south is more relaxed and has more of a community spirit. North is pretty fast paced and anonymous in comparison.

    Default Perthies :)

Can we all stop knocking Innaloo - it's the closest shops to me that have a Target and a Muffin Break!

Seriously hate the shopping centers over here!

    Haha

Yes they are pretty crap. I'm more of a karrinyup girl. I like that little Japanese takeaway at innaloo though.

Me too - it's definitely closest. I've recently gone to Whitfords a couple of times and it's not too bad - just a bit of a drive.

The shopping centres here were a huge adjustment for me. We lived in inner city Melbourne and our nearest Target was in the city. I'd occasionally venture to a shopping centre but extremely rarely. If I couldn't buy something at our local village shops or in town I went without.

Now I would go to Karrinyup 4 times a week some weeks. I do also go to Innaloo shops some times. The biggest shock to me was how daggy the Westfield shopping centres are here - in Melbourne and Sydney they are often the poshest - Chadstone was pretty amazing, as is Bondi.

I actually liked that. It meant we did things like went to the beach instead of doing the groceries. And IGA was open so we could get stuff if we were desperate.

I still don't shop on Sundays - hard habit to break.
