Cool - saw that the Nannup festival was on, in fact there seems to be festivals everywhere atm.

London - I never miss Supernova, but haven't made it to a comic con yet.

Sadly, with me working on the election on Saturday, and taking the kids to a birthday party on Sunday, Comic Con will have to wait another year...

How long since you moved Jez? And did you move within the same electorate or somewhere out of it? Different consequences apply.

Completely different and yes shamefully admit it... Almost a year we moved...

I actually went onto website when I first changed everything over and everything else was done but they wouldn't allow me to change our details over the Internet. And since then I completely forgot about it. Oops.

You have some options. technically you are not allowed to vote as it has been more than 3 months since you moved. You can attend a polling place, ask to speak to the polling place manager and he will issue you with a certificate of attendance and you will not be fined. Change your details then and there with the form available!

Or, give your old address (an absentee vote will be needed as you will most likely go to a polling place in your new electorate) and be issued a vote. Then take a form with you and fill it out ready for the federal election.

Just to clarify: you should take the first option. The second option is not quite in the spirit of the Electoral Act but people do it.
