Well work interfered with my plans again! Didn't go to the gym in case I was called in, so I have just done some more Wii Active. I hope to do a Michelle Bridges DVD tomorrow.

I've lost 1 kg but only because I've been skipping lunch or dinner the last few days because of work. Just finished week 1 of Ripped in 30 and feel good now. It was a bit hard in places, having time off makes it hard to come back.

    Yay....!!!

No lunch or dinner? Could you use a good protein shake for those times when you don't have time to prepare something else?

Yeah, it wasn't ideal not having those meals. I was either sleeping due to night shift or too busy working to stop and eat. This week should be a lot quieter for me, only 1 extra shift.

I went for a walk with the kids today for an hour, it was more relaxing than anything (well mostly, as relaxing as it can be with kids)

I've just done a Jillian Michaels DVD - Ripped in 30 - week 2. It was pretty hard in some parts, I had to stop for a second or two which was really disheartening. Plank jacks are not my friend.... but they have to be done.

I feel better now that its done, like I can breathe. I really notice my stress levels when i don't exercise, they go through the roof.

No more kg's lost, hope that changes this week.

Not much progress here. I've had a cold and feel run down. I did a fit ball workout yesterday and I think I'll do some wii active today, not exactly hardcore, but at least it's something.

Feeling fairly motivated this week. Monday I did a cardio circuit dvd and I can still feel it. It was easy a few weeks ago, but when I slack off I can really feel it.
Yesterday I did the One Active weight bar dvd, it was hard work too.

Today I did a "10 minute solution" dvd - 5 day fit mix. Its great, I did all 5 mini workouts - kickboxing, weights, cardio, power yoga, belly fat burner. My chest aches from way too many pushups over the past few days, but its a good ache.

Diet has been OK, I just need to make sure i am eating regularly, I've been starving at bedtime. I haven't lost or gained any weight.

I am feeling pretty motivated - I think watching The Biggest Loser has helped. I know a lot of people think it exploits people with weight issues, but I find it so motivating. Most things the trainers say really resonate with me - it is about getting your head right, if you don't believe you can do it, well you won't.

Skipped doing anything yesterday, my excuse - work. I really should have done something easy, like a walk.

Made up for it today, just finished a Michelle Bridges DVD - Project Shape Up. It was hard, I am as red as a beetroot, but no-one is here to see me. I feel good, tired but I'll get my 2nd wind soon.

Still sitting between 59-60kg depending on when I weigh myself. I don't know if this is my bodies ideal weight and therefore I should just maintain or if I really can lose another 5kg. I might need to take some measurements and see how that goes.

How have you been going? I'm a workout DVD lover too- haven't done one since DS stopped taking a nap, I can't wait to get back into them. I have a bunch of Jillian Michaels and Michelle Bridges ones that I haven't even tried out yet!

I'm going OK. The last few days I have been doing week 1 of Ripped in 30 by Jillian Michaels. My diet has been all over the place, not bad as such, but work has been crazy and I am so out of routine. Next weeks things will be back to normal, no more night shifts for awhile so I can get back into it.

I did buy a protein shake mix "body science" from Woolies (it was half price) but it's chocolate flavoured - I've avoided chocolate for 2 years, so it tastes very weird, artificially sweet. I'll make it with icy cold water and force it down though. I plan on having it just after a workout, not in place of meals.

I think I will do week 2 of Ripped in 30 today.
