    Default Aldi coming to WA!!

Aldi are fab. I suppose a lot of their stuff is home brand, but they have a lot of common brand stuff too. But they only stock the one brand of any item and sell it quite cheap. Their pannetone rocks at Xmas time, and every week they have a themed special eg. tools, wooden kids toys or clothes, German food for Oktoberfest, or homewares.

The stores are pretty simple, and the queues can be tiresomely long. But a lot of their stuff is such good value.

Eta: baldivis aldi would be nice!
Baldivis also would be lovely I live In baldivis!

I think it will shake the local spud sheds maybe give them a kick up the backside to present the spud sheds like they present the jandakot one to win more customers back.

Ours too, but rather than individual items stacked on shelves, there's a box of say 12 peanut butters sitting on the shelve. So it still saves individually placing the items on the shelves.

You can't do your full groceries at Aldi. We do a fortnightly shop there for pantry fillers, freezer fillers and cleaning products as well as some other things. It's great for a lot of essentials, but you will still have to do smaller shops at woolies/coles etc.

Surprisingly, more of their stuff is Australian than things at other supermarkets.

I agree that baldivis spud shed can be very off-putting. It would be great if it was redone like the jandakot one!
