    Default Aldi coming to WA!!

    Apparently Aldi is arriving soon in WA. I have seen some of you talking about it in the past! What's so good about it??

    I just saw the ad too and only recognised the name because people have mentioned it on here before I always assumed it was an eastern version of IGA but I guess not.

    They want to open 60 stores over a few years. I'm looking forward to it. Supposed to be good prices. Will give Coles & Woolies a shake up.

    i'm guessing a bit classier version of the spudshed but less emphasis on fresh?

    Interests to see what it's likd but they use their own home brand stuff I think? Which I'm not sure about.

    They are talking inner suburbs - leederville, mt Lawley, mt hawthorn to start with and then expanding!

    I have heard on the news they are trying to stop the wa aldi stores from selling liquor though.
    Looks like no $2.50 bottle of wine for me lol

    Eta: baldivis aldi would be nice!
