We are not into VD at all. Nothing against it it's just not our thing. I'd feel a bit embarrassed tbh if DH did anything special.

DD1 is really into it so DH is bringing some heart shaped chocolates home for the kids.

We had our 12 week scan this morning and baby was perfect so that was enough of a gift.

We don't celebrate V day. Haven't for years. We feel its very commercial. But I think its sweet seeing others all loved up

We do those V day sort of things spontaneously so don't feel the need to do it on a particular day. That's just us though. We did do it earlier on in our relationship.

Lol - it was year before last that DH had a nice romantic dinner with 2 colleagues and the big boss from interstate

I've just popped a bottle of Billecart in to chill.

Not so much because of V Day but because it's the only white wine we have in the house and I don't feel like red.

DH has been spending most of his spare time with his mother who is dying, so I didn't expect anything.

So now I feel like the luckiest girl in the world - he went to see his mum earlier today and is now on his way home to spend time with me.
