Nana. That is wrong isn't it? Bought a mug for mum but they were all spelt nana. I thought it was Nanna? Otherwise it would be pronounced nah nah as in banana?

It's hen the original author makes a grammatical or spelling error, and the is quoted. The error is left there, and then [sic] is added to show that is how it was originally.
I actually can't remember what the acronym stands for though!
