Yes, Cooper Tires is an American brand and that's how they spell tyres.

    Tee hee!

I'm from Canada and it's spelt the same way there. Even though I've been here for almost 10 years I still think spelling it as "tyres" a bit odd!

So strange how the same word can be spelt differently.....I love it!

Bambooty have launched new 'Basics' nappies, and in all their FB posts they have Basic's. Thankfully it looks like the tag is correct!

Opinions on plurals of product names? Eg Bambooty, Easy-Dry. Changing the name seems wrong, but booties is the plural of booty. I used to work for the head office of a pharmacy group, X Pharmacy. I hated it when people put 'X Pharmacies' in marketing material when referring to more than one store. I'd put 'X Pharmacy stores' to pluralise it. You wouldn't say there were 3 Houses in a suburb if talking about the store House.

So my solution for the above would always be to write 'Easy-Dry nappies'

I agree the product name should stay intact, if pluralising can't be avoided. I was part of a FB discussion recently where the plural of "Batman" was a hot topic, eg "Your room's a mess, go pick up all your..."

    I went with "Batmans"

I'm so glad you edited this post! I thought first time I saw this that you meant it was your blog page, and I wanted to run and hide because I felt so bad!
