argh spelling mistakes galore on facebook today.

"nurves" and it was used MULTIPLE times in a post. I can't reply to this particular poster most of the time for fear I won't be able to stop myself correcting her.

"devine" has probably been said before but I am surprised how many people say write devine instead of divine.

burnt when burned should be used.

what really upsets me though is how bad my spelling and grammar has become in these later stages of pregnancy. I want to kill my own posts at times

I don't even know what they were trying to say? Can you translate?

My husband, who speaks well as a general rule, says "I would have went...". For example, "I would have went to the shops if I knew we needed milk".
I constantly remind him that it is "I would have gone..."! Drives me nuts.

I was thinking she was reaching for done up to the nines, just because to the hilt means completely, but to the nines is more referring to nails, hair etc... being ott.
