    Love this thread, being a Virgo! ☺ Unfortunately I went to a pretty bad school so 90% of school friends can't spell well or use grammar correctly. The stuff I see on Facebook hurts my brain! Oh and my own brother (mid thirties) still can't spell 'her' he spells it as 'hir', lordy!

    Many Asian English speakers use 'mom'. Maybe there are lots of BHers who learned English in Asia? Or whose parents did perhaps.
