Oh thanks Tiny, I am awaiting my request acceptance for the FB group. Yep tight clothing is a no no now LOL. Yes we are close for both of us geting BFP's this round . I am being negative and saying it's not going to work this round as it is my rst time and my DF is all positive (hoping he is right).
You must be on a shorter cycle than me, our FConly does EPU Tuesday and Thursday so that's why I am 26th. Good luck with your scan tomorrow

Argh! As though the tww isn't stressful enough, just received our anaesthetists bills. They got us to prepay $900 ($450 each) for our procedures, then we get the bills yesterday and although my EPU was 20 minutes longer than my husbands TESA they have altered the items in his account to make it up to $450. How dishonest! My pre-a consult was $100 and his was $112.50. Same item number. What is even more appalling it that we didn't even have one!
    Vent over.

    Hey Veritas,

Whenever we had a BFN/chemical the nurses would say, just give us a ring when you next get your period and we will take it from there. So we had the choice of what to do

Hugs ks09 and kitchel... I'm right there with you guys.

Kitchel - if we had to do another icsi straight up we'd struggle and it would all be on our credit cards. The only thing that was cheaper for us in terms of utilizing our private health was not paying for the hospital fees on egg collection. Not sure if they cover any of the anesthetist yet.

So for those that moved onto fet did you wait the month or jump straight in? We have the option apparently, but not sure what to go with. So many questions for the nurse when she rings to day, not sure if it would be natural or medicated yet, though I do like the idea of it being natural and more normal.

Extremely heart breaking, as we used all money we had, into this round, and only had the 1 viable embryo. Im just wondering, how do you all keep affording cycles. We are quite devistated as i just dont think we will have money to do this again. Are there less expensive places, does anyone have any suggestions. Ive been following the thread, and it seems there has been alot of bad news all around. My heart goes out to all those who have had BFN, It SUCKS. Im just so stuck as to what our next move will be. Also does anyone know about surgery for unblocking tubes that were damaged by endo? Just one of my many thoughts. Is it alot cheaper if youre in a private health fund????/
Hope that some of you can help with my questions. Best wishes to anyone in the waiting time and prayers for those in recovery mode (like me). xox

Im so sorry Kichel it does totally suck to get that result..
My hubby & I don't get any discounts & ivf IS expensive.. The $ side of things kills us to but we just save and spend! We take the view that if we get the outcome it is worth every single cent It is a very personal decision though and that's why when it's time to stop for a couple it will be different for another.
It used to bug me after 3 failed cycles when we discussed going to sperm donor then the ivf specialist told us we were giving up too soon & then on e 4th we brought it up again & they said "for some people it takes 10 cycles" etc My thoughts on that is that is a totally personal decision & no one should be expected to keep doing ivf over & over..The $ is one thing but the disappointment of a failed cycle affects everyone differently, it can be truly sole destroying some months & I have wanted to give up but after a few months I've re-set & want to go again. Good luck.. It's a tough decsion, time helps & don't let anyone else tell you that you "should" keep going or you "should" stop... Take care xxxx

Ivfforbaby no it doesnt mean your getting af. Crinone is just annoying. I was wearing panty liners because it would leak. The colour would be different every single time as well. Just try to relax.. I think you may be testing early I would definitely try to wait another 2 days or so. Good luck
