SaraTTC, so so sorry to hear about your FIL, that is very sad news hope your DH is doing ok x
Kitchel, so sorry about your BFN I hear you with the cost thing. I don't know if this is an option for you, but our clinic is in Westmead NSW and I find their prices very good. There are a couple of ways you can pay - we paid all costs upfront for our first full ICSI cycle, which was $5055, and we got approx $3750 back from Medicare and $100 back from the clinic as we didn't proceed with an ET. If we need to do further cycles again this year the out of pocket cost is around $300. The clinic has a lot of people attend from interstate. It's called Westmead Fertility Centre if you want to give them a google
Girls... GUESS WHAT?!?! I got 2 positive tests this morning?!?!?

Sarattc I am so sorry to hear about your FIL how very sad for you and your DH at this time.
Sorry to the KS09 & Kitchel with your BFN's it is so frustrating. I hope Kitchel you can work out a way to move on financially. It is never easy to find this amount of money to just keep going month after month.
Good luck Mrs Day with your transfer! Lucky your body decided to finally play the game! Good luck with your bloods Stc76 fingers crossed for you!
Well as for me I am still all crampy and had some pink spotting last night that went away again over night. I swear atm my meds (crinone daily and progynova three times a day) are just keeping AF away long enough to torture me until my blood test on friday. I told DH this last night and he got a bit upset, i think he had his hopes up a bit this time around. I just wonder sometimes will this ever work???

Sara - so sorry to hear. How devestating for you and your dh. Hugs!
Hugs ks09 and kitchel... I'm right there with you guys.
Kitchel - if we had to do another icsi straight up we'd struggle and it would all be on our credit cards. The only thing that was cheaper for us in terms of utilizing our private health was not paying for the hospital fees on egg collection. Not sure if they cover any of the anesthetist yet.
So for those that moved onto fet did you wait the month or jump straight in? We have the option apparently, but not sure what to go with. So many questions for the nurse when she rings to day, not sure if it would be natural or medicated yet, though I do like the idea of it being natural and more normal.
