Waiting to exhale - my new acupuncturist uses the same type of techniques!

Hi Waiting to exhale im with rainbow road I only have 3 in my stomach but I wonder if it has to do with your specific fertility problems. Im going to try another acupuncturist because the lady I've been seeing is quite expensive so we will see what the new lady does.

I know this is weird but ive been feeling off all week so did a poas and im still getting a really really faint line. Do you think the drugs from my cycle last month could still be in my system on cd10 of the next cycle? Ill never be able to trust a hpt again now. Haven't told dp I did a test he'll think im a crazy lol.

Hi everyone, hope it's ok to join you a little late in the piece. I have BT tomorrow after having 2 embies put back 2 weeks ago. Have had two pregnyl booster shots, so hard to know if my BFPs on the hpt's are real, but they are nice and strong so can only hope. We are blessed with one IVF bubs who had her 2yo birthday yesterday and this is our 10th cycle trying for number 2.

Deb01, if you are worried, you could always drop in to your GP and just ask for a blood test to just check if your HCG level is baseline. Just to ease your mind.

rainbow road, a grade A embie should be nice and sticky. Sending you lots of sticky vibes.

jjde, best of luck with this cycle

Blood test yday went well so triggered last night at 8pm! Up bright and early tomorrow morning for egg collection :-)

Tiny bit nervous but very excited at the same time. How many days did people have off work for egg collection?

waiting to exhale - my acupunct who specialises in fertility is great in Melbourne. She puts 3-5 needs in tummy and rest legs, forehead and toes. She pushes the needle in gently but she will then twist slightly but it should not be painful. It is getting the blood circulating and can feel a pressure point. Acupunct shouldnt be painful and if it is try someone else.

Trigger tonight thank goodness for EPU on Tuesday. I am a low responder so hoping for a good couple. I have been having 3 injections nightly - gonalf, org and clexane (which I dont like).

If this stim cycle doesnt work then we will look to change clinics for a new FS and then look to egg donation overseas.

Veritas - re time off after EPU - I usually have 2 days but might have 1 off this time. We will see. last time I had minor OHSS due to high dose of meds so needed 3 days off. It also depends how easy the EPU is for them to get to your ovaries - I have had an instance where I have been fine and others whereas I could hardly walk for a couple of days and had bruised ovaries. The FS or hopsital will give you medical certificate if needed to cover your absence for a few days. All the best.
