Started my antagonist drug tonight did anyone else have a stingy itchy red mark from it ?
My FS called me today, to say her and 3 other specialist had been talking about me and decided no human growth hormone for me!! Yay!! They want me try Embryogen instead? Anyone been a part of the trial? I'm not in the trial but I've using for similiar reasons!
Yep stingy red welt that itches like nothing else for me. Usually gone within an hour or so.
Second scan went ok, had some growth, may still be Monday. Just hoping my progesterone levels don't go up or it may be a bust. Does anyone know what there's was on day 10?
Big hugs Cholita... x
Have been lurking for a few days reading all the posts about IVF I can. I am currently awaiting AF (due around the 12th) so I can get started on my very first cycle of IVF. I have hesitated to join the chat as I am blessed to be a mum to 4 children already and am currently trying to concieve with my fiancee. I feel a little like an interloper as I do not have any fertility problems and after reading all of the posts just wasn't sure if it was suitable to join in. I am undergoing IVF as I had a co-erced tubal ligation 9 years ago with my youngest daughter. After a marriage break up with the father of my children I have been blessed to find an amazing man who loves me and I want to give him the opportunity to be a father to his own child not just my children. So we are now pinning our hopes on a successful IVF cycle.
Congratulations to all the ladies that have had BFP's this cycle. I hope to have the chance to get to know you all.
Welcome tashan.. everyone's Ivf journey is unique!
Cholita, I am really sad for you. So sorry for your loss.
I can't remember who asked, but my needle often felt like I had been stung by an ant for an hour or so. Just irritated and itchy. But would be fine after that.
Monday morning I have my first blood test for FET cycle!!! Cannot wait to get this started, but I am feeling very reserved at the same time. You just never know what is around the corner with IVF. Honestly, i still can't quite believe that we have been through a stim cycle already. Not being able to conceive ourselves is a lot to get my head around some days. Taking the ivf journey is best done one day at a time, i think..
For those people who have told their bosses about IVF- are they asking you questions constantly about IVF? Or are they giving you privacy? My boss keeps questioning me about it and I am unsure how to respond (I don't want to talk about it most of the time), advice?
My boss is a man so he doesn't ask too much, really nice about it all though, him and his wife started the IVF process but then fell naturally and now have three so he's really understanding.
Some friends and family ask constant questions, now that we are onto a FET cycle I have just told them that we arelating the waiting game till we are ready to start e process and there is no rush. It seems to have stopped all the questions although secretly I'm CPU ting the days and sometimes hours until we can start.
