Just curious how long it takes everyone else to feel they are recovered from EPU? Mine was 2 weeks 3 days ago and I still have sore ovaries; it "pulls" something down there when I drive; and it also hurts if I try to walk at normal speed (frustrating for people walking places with me!). Does all that sound like the usual deal?

Hello ladies I just got some advice to come over and join this thread. I'm finding I don't really have anyone to talk to about this cycle of ivf my husband is finding it so overwhelming and trying hard to deal with all of this himself we are both really struggling! I just had my FET yesterday untying 2 back in one good one average, this is my fourth attempt and we have been ttc for nearly 5 years and this is our last go so it is really emotionally straining atm. I think if this dosnt work this time things ae not going to be great this is going to be the worst tww ever

Hi sjfoot yes its one of the 2ww threads so you are very welcome here!
I'm 4dp5dt with BT on 25th, still a while to go.

Sorry to hear its your last try without any success hope this will be a successful one for you

Littlesunflowers- I could almost not walk for the first week post EPU, and was still very sore for another wek after that. Only got better once AF arrived unfortunately. But then I had to wait 2 mnts before my nxt AF arrived as the stim cycle affected my body so much. I just kept on having protein shakes ( the tastiest and most cost effective one I found was the Natures Way Vanilla -Michelle Bridges- from Woollies that i mix with water) and lost of water to keep the OHSS at bay. My greatest fear is having to go for a next stim cycle again...

littlesunflowers it's been 5 days past EPU for me and I'm feeling back to normal, almost! I felt extremely bloated and hard to walk for the first couple of days, and hard to sleep/turn for another day, but most of the bloating has gone away now and I don't have that ovary "pull" feeling anymore. I thought I was well enough to DTD (sorry if TMI) but it hurt a little and it drew a bit of fresh blood. 2 weeks seems like a long time (though this is my first cycle so don't have anything to compare it to), did the clinic tell you how long it would take for you to recover?
