    Sorry to heart mel

Afm: discover had a very faint line, it should have been darker for 12dpo, so I'm not holding out much hope. Af is due thurs (2days to go)

Indigo - Not to be rude, I'm genuinely curious - Why would there be a faint line if you are not pregnant? What can cause false positives?

I actually was hoping I was pregnant, the faint line could mean I'm a little bit pregnant, or that my mind is telling me there is a line when there isn't. The false positives were actual false positives from dodgy tests, I'm not using those tests at the moment.

Sorry to hear AF arrived mel.

Indigo - If there really was NO line at all, you'd surely know. I'm keeping positive for you and hoping it's a BFP!

What tests do you use? I only have ICs. I have 3 that look like OPKs but with blue ends and one that it used within the NHS here in the UK. I'll start with the ICs but was wondering how good they are. Anyone?

Im using ic tests too. I have two 'discover' tests too, they are the ones first response sent me after i complained about the dodgy frers. I also had one pregnosis test, I'm not sure i trust that brand though, I'm thinking the line i got on it yesterday was an evap.

I'd definitely say test around 2ish if you can, and when the line is dark increase your tests to 2 or 3 a day is possible (maybe 4 hours apart). Try and hold your pee inbetween. It's definitely possible you could miss your surge because the test I did 6 hours after my strong positive had a very faint second line. I know OPKs can be expensive but it's worth using a few more than missing OV. Remember to hold your pee 4 hours before testing and don't drink too much as well. I hope you get your first positive OPK soon. It's a great feeling for people like us who have no idea what's going on. The next stress you'll deal with is worrying whether you have done enough once you know OV has happened!
Trying to remember... only a few weeks ago but now my brain is: wedding, wedding, holy crap my engagement party is 3 weeks away and I haven't done anything... oops.

Okay back onto babies... I tried to do OPKs at 2pm (only managed 3 out of 8 days) so usually 1pm and 6pm.

Next cycle I will do 2pm 5pm and 9pm... UFRT told me 9pm is the best time to get a positive as well as two... but I pee too much to hold my bladder between 2pm-9pm!

My first cycle I got a very, very close positive (I called it a positive) and DTD enough doesn't seem to be a problem with my DP... he is like a bloody teenager!! not that I am complaining

Hope you get good news this cycle !If not I hope your body plays along better than mine has this month!
