    Default Your perfect day.......

Because I've been a bit of a grumble bum on here recently, thought I'd start a nice thread.....

So what would be your perfect day?

    Here's mine......

    Sleep in

    Woken by snuggling children

Pyjama morning: which includes building with lego, baking and drawing with da kids

Delicious lunch and a bit of afternoon delight with DH

    A nap

A swim - with da kids

    A massage

And evening out with DH - dinner and a movie

    Mmmmmm

    Now it's your turn........

Wake up early to snuggles from DF, spend an morning baking, go out to the markets with said DF, afternoon delight, then out for dinner and dancing.

A whole day with no arguments would be amazing. Sigh.

    Default Your perfect day.......

    No kids or DF lol.

    Sleep in

Hair done as well as nails and eyebrows.

A HOT hazelnut latte with a box a Ferrero Rocher's that I didn't have to share.

A nice meal out without being interrupted.

Sitting in the spa with a nice cocktail and reading a book!

A sleep in, nothing crazy, but being able to sleep until at least 7 would be amazing!
    Nice cooked breakfast
DH could watch DD while I got my hair done
    Lunch with DH/DD
Take DD somewhere like the zoo or somewhere she loves going
Relaxing dinner out with DH and DD, maybe our family.

I work full time so any time I get to spend with DH/DD is amazing even if it's just simple things.

Oh, and, DD would need to behave all day, no tantrums, no "I don't want to eat that!" or anything else that is frustrating

I should also add.... a shower alone! Just once I'd love to shower without DD at my feet along with a million bath toys haha

    That all sounds so busy.

Perfect day for me would be waking up child free from a sleep throughout the night which i slept through(DS has ruined it for me as i can not for the life of me sleep through the night anymore)

Breakfast at coffee club or something with a juice and a magazine of some sort.
Come home after breakfast to a nice clean house as my cleaner has just been

Watch supernatural/BBT/ once upon a time in bed by myself or with someone special if i found that someone special.

DS comes home late at night(7ish) and then we have dinner and a game of monopoly to finish before bed.

    Sounds absolutely perfect to me.

Full nights sleep. Wake up to quiet house because DH has taken the kids out to do something they will love and I know they'll be safe n sound and happy.

Coffee overlooking the garden, reading the news. Do some sewing. Catch up with a friend. DH comes home, having dropped the kids off with a friend they adore (we don't have such friend, but on a perfect day we would) for the arvo.

Have 'couple time'. Then go for a bike ride and have picnic arvo tea with wine. Come home, friend drops kids back dinner all done and they ate beautifully. Go for family walk, bath and bed. Being perfect day they go straight into blissful sleep. DH and I watch movie with wine and chocolate. Go to bed, read for a bit.

Ahhhh, I suddenly feel so peaceful...

*sound of kids arguing in the backyard brings me back to reality*

After a full night sleep I get woken to breakfast in bed.

whilst in the shower (alone and un-disturbed) DH washes the breakfast dishes, tidys up and gets the girls dressed.

then we take the kids to the park to tire them out and have a picnic lunch.

get home the kids have dinner, bath and an early night.

then DH and I have take away (Chinese) with a few glasses of wine, a meal I can eat hot and with 2 hands!

then go to bed with DH *wink
