    Default 2013 ... the year of BFP's ... #2

    Wow this thread moves quickly!

Just wanted to say Disney it's not over til af shows so there's still hope! Wow so many bfp so far and still so many to come. July/aug feels like ages away

So I've had an odd month. My last two cycles were 32 and 31 days. A week after my last af I had really sharp pains where I assume my left ovary is. They were pretty bad and had me doubled over and lasted about an hour. Around the same time my boobs were extremely sore. I couldn't work out if its an ovarian cyst (I've had one in the past but it didn't hurt to press my stomach like last time) or o (but a week after af seems to early). The other week I've also had fluid in my middle ears for no apparent reason! Frustrating that the doc couldn't find a cause but my ears were blocked for about 2 weeks. Fast forward to today (cd 28) and I had brown spotting after bd this morning (sorry if tmi!) and has continued all day and is now pinkish red.

We are using condoms so I highly doubt I'm utd but just curious if af is arriving 4/5 days early. It's only my third month off the pill so who knows. I guess I'm a little worried in case it's not af as bleeding after bd can't be good and dr google has scared me! This combined with the sharp pains perhaps I should go see a real doc if if isnt af. Just an odd month for me to have so many things going on.

Any body testing over the weekend! I hope you are all well.

cd28 .. Perhaps your cycle is starting to stabilise. Bd can bring af on if she is ready...the ah...impact from bd on your cervix can get things happening if its just sitting there. The sharp pains sound like ovulation and yep it can happen a week after af, I'm going to assume the fluid in your ears are not related to your 28 day cycle at all LOL!! These are the joys of working out your cycle once you ditch the bc pill! July/August really isn't far away at all, I mean its the middle of Feb already! I swear NYE was only 2-3 weeks ago!! Easter and the chocolate binge will be here before we know it them bam you'll be ttc! Just like that! And if you have a quick count its only about 18 Saturdays away!

Afm - I'm not sure if I'm going to test tomorrow! It's getting expensive and I have a feeling af is on the way... It's actually the first time I've thought hmm yeah I think she is gearing up! I'm not sure what the hold up is but we'll see what tomorrow brings!

I wish I could talk DH into a maternity ward tour... I'm too scared to even ask! We used to live right near RNS (walking distance!) We're upper North Shore now. I have no clue which hospital we'll choose. I don't really like the look of any of them. I did a bit of a Google search a couple of months ago & liked the look of Gosford Private. I'm just not sure if it's too far away... what if I go into early labour? But I do like the idea of being on a sort of mini holiday... maybe we could stay in the central coast for a week beforehand? We got married in Gosford, so it seems appropriate.

how far is it funchu?? I have no choice but to birth in a hospital 100kms away from home....an hours drive average normally... (over 1.5 hours drive while in labour with DS! Of course, my waters broke at 1am, and they wanted me there incase of prolapsed cord...so had to go then, was 2am by the time we left home after packing the car...and almost 4am when we got to the hospital....The road is through a native forrest and pine plantation so FULL of Kangaroos) my labour hadnt established at that stage (irreguar light contractions) So it might be possible?? If thats what you really wanted???

Sorry to hear you think AF is comming Disney, hang in there!! Its not over until she is here for sure.

AFM - about 6dpo somewhere around there...and NOTHING to report...last month i was sure i was UTD and it was the only cycle i wasnt! (1st 2 cycles were chems - BFP the day or 2 before af due, but followed by AFon time) I had head spins/nausia, and my bbs felt like someone was hitting a cricket ball into them for the last 5-6 days before AF arrived....
Not holding out much hope, I think i o'd sunday-monday....but had a head cold and high temps all weekend, then had a sore back...and its still sore! DTD as much as i could handle, but it doesnt matter Just another month i get 1 on 1 time with my DS This is the way i look at it so as not to get upset, and its working! as much as i know he would love a sibling

    Who knows! lol
PCOS makes it so hard! Figure because we produce more than one follicle - EWCM doesn't always mean that we're ovulating, just that we're producing follicles, which produce estrogen, which produces EWCM. Ovulation pain is generally good - it means that follicles are getting larger. Generally if the crampy pains stop - that means that you've ovulated, as it means that the ovary has reduced in size, and therefore isn't irritating the nerves around it.

I am still getting BFN. I don't think I'm pregnant. Unless I O'd much later than I thought. I see fertility specialist tomorrow, and he'll be able to tell me for sure if I've ovulated. Then I dare say it's onto meds, can't remember what it's called as he said he doesn't use clomid anymore. In a way, now I just want AF to come rather than drag out... well unless I'm gonna get a BFP...

How far away are you from The San? I've heard rave reviews from there.

this is exactly where I'm at too! 2 days late now no af (I was sure I was going to wake up to her). I didn't test this morning, it's getting too annoying seeing bfn and not seeing af, I'm going to wait until the in laws leave and then test if af hasn't showed up.

Shadow - that sucks you were feeling not 100% around egg catchin time! The one on one moments are so special because once there is 2 that's it! You can only do so much, which can be frustrating at times... How do you feel about a possible December bub?
