I hate that too! I used to get tampons/pads on special and stock up but since ttc i don't - it took six months to go through my whole supply!

I'm only cd 7 but my opks seem dark so i think my surge will happen early...will have to wait and see. Not officially due to O until about the 27/28.

You will. I know it's frustrating. I have been reading some TTC diaries and it made me realise that it's sooo not easy for most women. You'll get there!!!

The thing I stay positive about is; I have saved another months worth of savings and i'm closer to getting Long Service leave (10 years of service - mine is due in feb 2014). So if it takes longer, i'll just have more money and leave saved up! Lol

Its kind of the same with us with money too! Haha...told DH today that in another six months we will be able to buy a new car without any finance or loans. (We plan to get a new car when i'm utd and will probably need to borrow some money if that happens soon).

Though...money isn't that much comfort to me because it just reminds me that the only reason i want to save it (etc) is so we have enough for when we have kids...so don't really need it so much when i'm not utd. If that makes sense haha

But i know plenty of women who've tried for 1-2 years before getting pregnant so 7 or so months is not that long. I can't stand the uncertainty of it though!

Fx i don't have to wait much longer...even DH is getting impatient!

    hi all....
Hoping I can join in with you all .... we are planning to start trying again after a loss beginning of feb at 11weeks....I had to convince partner to keep trying as I am almost 36 and i figure why wait (he wanted to wait for a few months as this was his second loss and he is scared i think ) and so we are taking it easy.... I am using OPKs and maybe baby (not too reliable i hear due to PCOS) and just bought a monitor (never used one so thought it may be fun to play with)....

in a perfect world I would be pregnant for Christmas .... it took 13 months with our recent pregnancy so not sure how lucky we will be

    cheers paula

lol. I said that to DH last week: the longer it takes us to get pregnant, the more money we can save beforehand. I hadn't thought about the extra leave I'd accrue. Unfortunately I still have more than 2 years until I get LSL.

Haha...six months ago we would have struggled a bit to get baby stuff but now when we walk around a shop (like baby bunting) and we like something, we can actually afford it now even if ita more expensive.

I'm not even 'working' at the moment but if i'm due in Jan '14 or after i can get some of my uni scholarship paid out as mat leave. And DH is accumulating a lot of leave too .

    Welcome!

Hugs for the loss...it must be very hard.

Hopefully you get a bfp soon - ttc is so hard sometimes. I was hoping for a bfp before last Christmas but no...

Fx we all get our sticky bubs soon!
