Mumma, when did you get a positive opk?

Opks detect the lh surge, which is required for your body to release the egg. You don't release the egg at the same time as a positive opk, but (from what I have read) anywhere between 12-36 hours after. And I guess like anything there might be some cases outside these times as well.

    Fingers crossed!

Trio, I totally agree! I think that may be the way to go. I'm also super excited for Disney and got heaps clucky when I saw that faint line. I can't imagine how excited you must be Disney! I'm sure that line will get darker!! I love your ideas of telling your DH and mum!
Mumma K, I had a pretty clear fade in and fade out pattern with my first lot of OPKs. I'll try and post a picture for you this avo sometime.

Mumma K - Here you go. I tested once after I got a positive OPK and saw that the surge was over so I didn't bother testing any more after that.

I didn't realise he was this clucky! I don't think he'll be able to hold out so we can save money. But he might change his mind after we are actually in the new house.
Hehe that's a clucky man indeed!

Oh, is that what the opks look like. That looks so interesting. I think I'm going to have to get some of those when we start trying in May. You can see so clearly when o is about to happen!

My spotting has stopped. It started Wednesday night day 24 of 31 day cycle (about 8 dpo) and today is day 27. It went from brown and light pink to dark brown almost black and was never more that just some spotting on a liner. The spotting was accompanied by cramps that felt similar to, but not as strong as, the period cramps I get on my heaviest day.

I am thinking this could be a cyst or something but have never had anything like this before and have no idea. Does anyone have any idea what it could be? It has me really worried and I might make a dr appointment to get it checked out once I pass day 31 of my cycle and have seen what happens then.

I did ask dh to pick up a test for me to have handy just in case I want to double check I'm not pregnant. But really, that is SO unlikely it must be something else.

....although last night putting on my self tan I was like: what is that smell? Oh, THAT is what my tan actually smells like. And this morning the same experience with my conditioner. Haha I got super power smell all of a sudden. And I am NOT looking for symptoms as the chance is about 2%.

    No PMS symptoms.
Anyone else, besides Disney (fx for you girl!), testing?

Next weekend (provided I'm still getting bfp's) we have a family dinner planned at mums so I'm going to tell my mum then! Oh my gosh now im crying just thinking about it! This is ridiculous, I'm never emotional!

So I've had trouble getting on bub hub all day. Go out for lunch and while I'm waiting check to see if it works on my phone. It did. Thanks Disney lol I did the biggest squeal as I read your news! Omg! How exciting! Your prep obviously worked! Arrghh I'm so excited for you!

Dp and I went to billion just after new year. It wasn't apple season sadly it was all stone fruits (which I'm not fond of). All the best for tomorrow!
