Fingers crossed to those on the TWW

I am worried I have PCOS although my periods have always been fairly regular. They last for 7 days on average and I'm not sure if that is considered long or not. I do struggle with acne, fat around midsection is very hard to loose and I have the hairiness....Not fun! Extra fingers crossed to those ladies struggling with this. It must be frustrating TTC when your cycles are all messed up.

i have cut out the diet coke. Still drink a fair bit of green tea though and sometimes caffeinated energy drinks for the gym. I know I have to definitely cut out the energy drinks as they are very high in caffeine.

Still waiting on AF. Expected within the next couple of days. Hurry up AF!!

This naturopath better sort something out soon because I'm over it

    Sorry for the selfish post
have you been to see a fertility specialist/Gynocologist? What do they reckon?

Those of you who think you have PCOS - go and request a hormone test from your dr. PUSH for it. It's your body! The test is just a blood test, get them to do some other pre-pregnancy bloods, even see if you can get hormones tested during the TWW to see if you have ovulated on your own. It's better to know sooner rather than later whether you will have trouble conceiving. Just remember that YOU are the expert on your body, not the dr.

My boobs feel like they are gonna pop out of my bra lol. They are massive honkers anyway. So it's rather amusing. If they weren't so sore. Dare say I need to get a stick to whack away the hubby who will undoubtably want sex tomorrow night for valentines day. Maybe I should say that he could just give me cuddles, nothing more for V day lol.

I went to maccas with the kids today and the thought make me feel ill... ended up buying myself a OJ half diluted with water (no idea where that came from - the beginning of cravings perhaps?)

Mamma K - I'd recommend a naturopath over a gyno - especially since you are TTC. Figure I've had major issues in the past with bleeding, and their view is medication - like the pill that regulates hormones. It might be worth looking at an ultrasound though to see what your uterine lining is doing (not overly fun though as they do an internal ultrasound). Then at least you know what you are dealing with.

I've done all of that, I'm not ovulating my progesterone levels are not good.

Gyno just keeps putting me on primolut or trying to push clomid. Neither of which I want.

I can't use any form of hormonal contraception because it doesn't agree at all with my body.

So the naturopath is my last option

It's just my pcos. My progesterone levels aren't high enough to stop AF or to have a normal length cycle. I also have a LPD

Better be pregnant... or I'm not going to be a very nice person to live with. I just feel so so hormonal. Crying at the stupidest things, or nothing. I went and had a wind down today, got a coffee (my favourite thing in the whole wide world)... it tasted wrong, so in the bin it went. Food doesn't taste right, I had a salad with balsalmic vinegar dressing last night - it's one of my fave dressings, and again it just didn't taste right. My close girlfriend is on an unexpected road trip for a couple of weeks, and that's making things worse, cause I can't just go over to hers and plonk it on the lounge. My boobs are sore, and feel heavy. Though if this is pregnancy... I really don't care... just if it's PMS.. I'm not a happy chappy.
sounds promising hamij, when is af due and when are you going to test?

fair enough! I really hope the naturopath can help you out. I've also heard acupuncture can't help as a natural method too.

Mumma K - I'm on naturopathy atm, I feel I have ovulated this cycle (I'll know for sure on Monday, or if I get a positive test before then). I feel a million times better. I know exactly how you feel. I've had my period for months at a time before. I had a period last month, and it was 4 days long, and it was light, and I could leave the house happily during that time. It was amazing. Feel free to message me if you want to know what I'm taking at the moment.

I've been testing, and getting negatives so far, but in saying that I'm 9DPO lol. I started testing on 7DPO. I'm not really expecting a positive until Sunday/Monday, but I will keep testing each morning just in case I can squeeze out a positive sooner lol.

    Default 2013 ... the year of BFP's ... #2

Hey girls, wow this thread moves so quickly! I just want to let you know that I am reading and following along, I've just been so busy over the past few weeks with all of this wedding stuff, I feel like we are having no family time at all 😣 So when I do have a spare minute, I'm trying to spend it with the boys.

Disney- have you tested yet!? You're killing me! I have my fingers crossed for you. Sounds promising!

NomieTee- what a beautiful wedding! I must admit I got a little teary.. I'm going to be a wreck on my big day!

Anyway girls, I'm sorry for no more personals. I wish they had the multi quote on the phone app!

Off to watch my recorded Carrie Diaries ep from last night and then go to bed. Work tomorrow 😩

    xx
