Its very new I stayed there not quite 2 years ago when DS was a NB to sort out some breast feeding problems... It was a shambles then! the maternity ward was set up make shift in the old childrens ward, the childrens ward had just been moved to the rehab ward..., they had pulled half of it down and were rebuilding....you get the idea lol He is 2 in just under 4 weeks. He was 6 days old when we went there

Yours looks nice! I love the idea of double beds! Poor DF had a reclining fold out chair thingy like a sofa...but it was better than nothing!

I'm almost positive I o'd on cd 18 and the last bd was on cd 16 so we missed the egg. . We are going to give it another go this cycle and then if it doesn't work we will give it a rest until May. I think I might buy some Internet cheapies OPk and hpt for the next cycle!

Ham and blotched how are you guys going with your testing?
Awww Disney I am sorry to hear you didn't catch the egg. At least now you know where you stand and can plan next month with extreme precision hehe

I was convinced from your symptoms that it was your lucky month - they were pretty much exactly what I experienced. Goes to show I guess that a lot of the preggo symptoms can be AF symtoms too just to do our heads in!

I had both my children at Royal North Shore (Public). I had a VBAC for my second. But not sure it would have happened if he wasn't early. This time we'll be homebirthing. I'm really not sure what to do with due dates around xmas, I would like to avoid it, but really... you never know what on earth is going to happen anyway! My son was due 26th Dec... and he's a November baby. My daughter was 10 days late and ended up being induced. So who the heck knows lol.

Still no period. LOTS more CM though... can't remember if this is 'normal' for me or not. Just frustrating, figure CM is watery/thin, so it feels like my period. So I'm forever going to the loo thinking I have my period.

[QUOTE=Disney;7090056]Oh fingers crossed you make it this month and get your bfp!! How do vbac's work, like who gets to decide whenever it happens or not?

i asked if i could start trying either once i get my first af or after all my test results like my big blood test i have to do in 5 weeks time and the results from bubs gentic testing which would be 10 weeks but then im going to have to add a further 4 weeks becuase i cant be more than 24 weeks pregnant on the 26th october for the wedding on the cruise. my next af is due on the 15th of march depending if my cycle just goes on as normal so i guess its just going to have to be a wait and see thing. i see my ob for apost reviw check up on friday so i will have more answers then i guess

I haven't been in hospital before though, so maybe this isn't an issue???

The San is a beautiful hospital I did my last placement of Uni there in the maternity ward. I have friends who have worked down there and many who have given birth there. It is a massive Seventh Day Adventist hospital but they don't force religion on anyone, most of the patients are not religious as they cannot afford. They have had alot of celebrities in there in the past.

I had my ds at the san and absolutely loved it there. Id go back there for my second (when we finally get pregnant that is) but I've lowered my health cover so can't afford to now. They have wonderful pre birth classes and classes whilst your in there. I was looked after very well and was helped alot..i dont remember anything religious being said to me which was good as arnt religious.I would highly recommend it

I would love to have a vbac. So many hospitals/doctors around here are against it though.

Has anyone seen 'The Business of Being Born'?

I agree - VBAC seems to be made out to be so much more dangerous than it actually is. Drs don't seem to like it. I was told they'd give me to 39 weeks, if I hadn't had a baby by then, it'd be a repeat C section - but I would have been totally against that.

I need to watch the business of being born. Heard lots about it.

are c sections really that bad? I don't know anyone that's had one (a part form my mum but she doesn't count because she had live in nannies, but that's another story)

i haven't seen the business of being born, what is it? Movie? Doco?

Personally - I had a c section and then had a vbac. The difference was incredible. C section is major surgery, and when you pair that with having a newborn, it just makes it so hard. My natural birth wasn't all roses, but even with my issues I just felt so much better, and bounced back so much quicker than I did with the c section. It is different for every person though.
