Split the difference, do 11! Though I think Nic got a BFN at 11dpo, followed by a BFP at 16.

Girls, maybe you can help me out. I'm 9+1 today. I booked in to see Dr Singh (obstetrician) at 12+1 even though Dr O hasn't released me yet because I didn't want Dr S to 'book out' and I wanted to get a time that would suit with work. Dr S's receptionist said he likes to see you at about 12 weeks, and for you to have had the NT scan done before you see him (so he has results ready).

So I booked in to Dr O for 2 weeks time (when I would be 11 weeks), but then thought that didn't leave enough time for me to get the scan done between that appt and Dr Singh's. I'm reading that the scan should be between 11 and 13 weeks and that the blood test that goes with it can be 10 weeks? So I've rebooked Dr O for next week, but it's not at a good time for work...

Did you get your NT scans at a normal scan place? Was it harder to get a booking than for other scans? (Just because I've read they require a higher level of expertise.) Have I figured it all out okay with the timings? I tried to ask the nurse at Monash and Dr O's assistant who answered the phone but they were kind of just like "yep book in!"

Betty, I saw dr Singh first at 9 weeks. Had my scan done at paradise ultrasound at 12 weeks, and saw dr Singh again at 14 weeks.

When you book in for your scan they tell you when to get your bloods done, I think it was 3 days prior to the scan from memory??? At paradise they give you your results at the end of your scan cause they have the blood results already, so there's no hurry to get into see dr Singh cause he's not really going to tell you anything they didn't already tell you at your scan. But I went to see dr Singh the day after my 20 week scan and he had the report already so you can literally go see him the day after your scan.
There's not really any need to see him before your 12 week scan but like I you I just wanted to get the ball rolling with him.

Fullofhope, how exciting and nerve wracking at the same time! I got my positive 8dpt if that helps??? Sending goods vibes your way!
