    Morning girls,

Lissy your story about your cat brought me to tears. It's crazy how powerful animals can be in our life. I have a cat and a dog and know when I'm having a tough day they bring me joy. My cat (who is not the most affectionate thing) actually got in bed with me last night and slept with her head on my tummy. I didn't want to move I was in shock! The thought of losing her or our dog is something I dont want to think about. I think it's a good idea for you to start a blog/novel etc regarding your kitten. If it helps you express your feelings and maybe bring joy to someone elses life then go for it.

The book recommended to me with the Healthy Baby Code by Chris Kresser - are you comfortable giving me your email I will send you the PDF's. I also just started reading a blog by Arsy Vartanian called Rubies & Radishes. She is paleo and just had a bub and talks about nutrition for that too. I've got heaps of paleo bloggers I read but another good one is cavegirleats.com this one is more on a nutritional level as well. I eat a bit of dairy too (full fat organic) and cheese when I can stomach it but no grains (expect for yesterday when all I could stomach was white toast!!!). I just bought the Practical Paleo and Gather cookbooks too!

Oh and don't worry about the weight gain - I've gained 6kgs since beginning of last year. It's just so hard to maintain or lose when you're pumped full of hormones, plus the emotional side of it. I actually caved last week & bought a size bigger jeans and they are sooooo comfortable!!!

Sorry to hear about your kitty -- I had a cat that died a few years ago and all I could do was cry for days. And we have a rottie cross now that my husband and I are both obsessed with -- though we do tell her she won't get as much attention when we have a bub!
Blogging sounds like a great idea. I've never had the writing urge but I know people who do and there's no point trying to bottle it up!
It never occurred to me that my username was Betty White's name! Nothing interesting behind it being my username though -- Betty is what a bunch of my friends call me, it's a version/nickname of my full name and my last name starts with W!!

Kate are you feeling any better? Xoxo

Lissy - sorry to hear about your little cat xxx we have 2 labs (jet and nitro) and a cat (rocket) and i couldnt bare to lose any of them. I tell myself we will all live forever so can understand it would be heartbreaking. Feel free to post here anytime - that's what the groups here for.

Betty - next step for me is our counseling appointment for donor sperm which is on Monday then I can start IUI with clomid whenever we want. This may sound funny but i think I felt my right ovary ovulate this month so hopefully it is in there somewhere despite being MIA on the scan. Maybe it's just hopeful thinking.... My Kate is doing well with her GD. We see flynny on Monday so should find out more about what he thinks about birth etc. when do they start checking your cervix? We r almost 33 weeks.

Kate how u going lovely? Taking it easy I hope. How is the progesterone going? How many are u on?

    TK

They do say you can sometimes feel ovulation TK. How soon do you think you'll start?

Good to hear about the weight gain (lol), I don't think my selfish husband has put on anything!!

Yeah it's very awkward when people don't know what's happening -- I pulled back from group get-togethers big time because I couldn't face the "so, what have you been up to" question. And then when I actually did get pregnant I was too sick and tired to do anything! Just now wanting to see friends again for the first time in over 6 months.

All our close friends know we did the egg collection & transfer so know we have results coming soon but we don't want to tell them yet!!!!!

Re progesterone - I'm on crinone morning & lunch & 400g pessaries at night.

Can I ask a Q - might be a little awkward but are you ladies still having sex??? My DH doesn't want to as he thinks that's why we have had past losses but the nurses have all said its ok. I'm pretty full of progesterone at moment anyway but he wants to wait until at lease our 7/8 week scan !! We sort of lose our closeness a little when we don't have sex.

Kate - we thought we lost our first pregnancy partly due to having sex. The midwife nurse at Dr Flynns actually recommended not to have sex/orgasms during first 14 weeks if you have had recurrent miscarriages. It is even in their booklet thing. So we didn't this last time. I think it's better to be safe. We just were intimate in other ways but without the sex.

Betty - i might start trying in September. But it really depends how we are going with baby 1 and how things are at work. My job has a bit of uncertainty unfortunately..... So will wait and see. I am chomping at the bit though. We would be happy to have them 1 yr apart.

We were told not to when baby #2 stopped growing and I had some spotting... That was about 7 weeks and it's only been a few times since. To be honest I haven't felt much like it -- but you're right, you do feel less close.
