Thanks girls, good to know. I also spoke to a friend who had done them and on your combined advice, I think I will get over myself and go to them.

That's great Betty, I do think you will enjoy them, or at least learn a few things or two

For the ladies that have Dr Singh as their Ob he now has a lady that works with him on a Monday she is a midwife at the hospital but also used to run a private clinic down at the tweed, her name is Adrienne Wheatley and she is also a lactation consultant and an amazing one at that.. I had trouble with breast feeding when my lo was born and would have different midwives come in throughout the day and just grab my boob and shove him on it by day 4 my lo picked up an infection at the hospital and my baby blues kicked in and I was a mess but Adrienne was so amazing she calmed me down and spent so much time with me until I was comfortable with what I was doing, every time I felt I was going off track or had issues with feeding and boy did I have quite a few she would always help me get back on track and made me feel so much better about things she also runs the mother baby clinic at the hospital and I still go to see her every couple of months she is fantastic and I can't recommend her highly enough. I'm really not sure how I would have got through those first few months without her.

Thanks angels! Yeah he mentioned the other day he was getting a lactation consultant. And he is moving offices into the hospital and getting all sorts of allied health which will be good. I'll have my bub before he moves but he will be in the new office for my 6 week check up. So you girls are going to have access to all sorts of things soon.

I have to say the 2nd day of classes was much more informative than the first. The physio came in and demonstrated what is physically happening to our bodies, lots and lots of info about birth, induction, c-sections, lots about breast feeding. I really enjoyed it.

We had 7 couples but they limit it at 10 I'm pretty sure.
We did 2 Saturday classes so we had morning tea and lunch too which was handy.
They even take you to show you a birthing suite and show you all the equipment etc.
