Ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome. Basically, the follicles from which eggs have been collected refill with fluid afterwards and then have to drain, and they drain into the abdominal cavity making you bloated and it can be really dangerous. Mine seems to be pretty mild - even though I look about 4 months preg.

So lots of salt, electrolyte drinks, and protein to help the fluid move back into the organs and eventually get passed out. It's not very fun! But like I said - I will embrace my OHSS with open arms if it's the result of a sticky emby!!
That doesn't sound too nice :/ ill be waiting to hear some good news from u this wk rainbow

This is going to be a long one, so maybe grab a coffee (or wine if its afternoon lol)

Butterfly, I am so sorry af arrived for you. I hope that your move went well and was not too stressful.

Kelly, Sorry for your bfn's, has af arrived yet? hope you are enjoying your busy weekend

Lila, I agree with everyone else, definitely time for a new fs. I hope finding one is easy and you get an appt fast.
    Lila,

MCB, Good to hear your acupuncture went well, I really need to get my butt into gear and make an appt, I keep saying I want to but just dont make it happen. How did you find out that they specialise in fertility? Did you just ring around and ask? there are a few I know of around me but I cant find any reviews on any of them.
How is your engagement party planning going? is it really soon?

Rainbow, great to hear you got to freeze 4 embryos how are you feeling, any symptoms yet?

Teeja, Yay for Dr. Hope! and an appointment so soon, and yay for ovulating

Squiggs, hope you enjoy your few months off TTC. before you know it May will be here and you will get your BFP!

Channy, how is your 2WW going? when in af due?

Jessi, Im so sorry to hear about your chem I hope you are doing ok and will keep my fx that next month is yours for a sticky BFP

haha, I often wonder how many of our posts are done on a phone or ipad while ladies are lying down with bums on pillows! GOOD LUCK sending you lots of baby dust.

afm, Im gearing up to o, and hoping with all my might that this month is ours. I went to the doc last week who wants to test DH's sperm and gave me a refferal for a fs. It knocked me for 6, I was not prepared that she would say that! I was sure she would tell me to just keep trying.
we are going to give it another 2 months before we do anything though, DH thinks its too soon and is not ready to test his swimmers, (SO FRUSTRATING!!! MEN!!!!) So we decided are going to try preseed, and then discovered its sold out EVERYWHERE, even online! So im going to pick up some Mabye Baby lubricant today instead.
Its also our first wedding anniversary today and we are spending it together staining and oiling our new deck how romantic!
Happy 1st Year Wedding Anniversary MrsLA!!

I googled a few and researched the ones that need fertility until I found one close to home, that took Medibank and a well known Acupuncturist that has a good success rate really easy to find thanks to trusty google hehe!
You can always go to one and if you don't like them go to another.
Enagagement party is next weekend - eep! So excited! I spent all weekend cleaning the house, weeding the gardens and perparing all the decorations... cut out 300 card love hearts last night and now my hand feels like it is about to fall off

good to hear you have a ref to a FS just in case you need to use it, hope you DH comes around to the idea of testing his sperm... some men are just very touchy about that subject (glad mine isn't - he wouldn't get a choice!)
Hope the Maybe Baby works for you!

    Morning Ladies,

Sorry I didn't get a chance to come on BH this weekend as I was super busy getting everything ready for our Engagement Party next Saturday

    Okay catch up time...

Kelly - Yes, it is possible for AF to show up even if you did not ovulate... annoying but she does seem to take her time when that happens. You can also skip AF all together with stress ect so it does get very confusing. Has AF shown up yet?

Channy - I hope AF doesn't arrive on your anniversary... a nice 1st year together married BFP that would be magical got my fingers crossed!

Rainbow - Sounds unpleasant but if it leads to your sticky baby then it is all worth it! I am hoping for some great news for you this week!

Shelby - hope that your BDing has done the trick and you get your little sticky eggy!! Got my fingers crossed for you! we need a nice sticky BFP to improve the moral in here I think!

As for me I am CD11 and just waiting... Very relaxed this cycle. I have started temping (quite funny when DF wakes me up saying "take your temp I want a baby this month" and pushes me to wake up hehehe) but just focusing on next weekend and we are looking into buying or building a house at the end of this year so lots of research... All keeping me busy and not dwelling on ovulation and BFPs ect!

I have another acupuncture session tonight too

    Happy Monday

The problem is my work doesn't distract me so even if I organise stuff at night with DP or friends, I still think about it all day at work

    Yep I totally understand this!

MCB good luck waiting to O, hopefully you can start trying for bub this week!!

I had a busy weekend only got to dtd twice I hope that was enough :/

    Currently 2-3dpo

It was a hard weekend my sister who is up to her 7th year ttc and 2nd round if IVF got a negative pregnancy test yesterday. She got 8 eggs originally but only 1 made it to day 5, it was put back in and was perfect so they had their hopes up only to get a BFN yesterday, with no back up embryos, life can be so cruel!
