Happy Valentines Day Ladies - Hope you get spoilt today and get lots of lovin'

Oh no, did I just say that? hehehehe

Kelly - The problem that I am having is that I don't think I actually ovualted this month. I didn't get a positive OPK this month but I got one pretty close to it so I hope that will do and I did in fact O... Just the waiting game to see if AF arrives or not.
As for OPKs they generally show up straight away or after 2-3 minutes... anything after 5-10 minutes makes an evap line

Waiting & Squiggs - I really hope this month is your month... I am going crazy after 2 months let alone after 8 or more eeep!!

Butterfly - sorry you're having a bad day. TTC does that to you but we are here to listen to you vent/rant all you like

Well I am excited about tonight - I love surprises!!

Well I am CD23 or 8DPO today; I have never been less excited about this TTC busniess as I have this month... Don't think I will even bother testing until AF is a good 5 or so days late as my cycles may still be working themselves out and I cannot handle seeing a BFN this month

I know everyone is different, but one woman said it took her 6 months to conceive and in that time she NEVER got a positive OPK?! The other lady was raving on about CBFM (Clearblue fertility monitor) yet said the 2 months that she got pregnant (she m/c the 1st) her bbt didn't actually peak!

As I've just done another negative OPK, I found this information a bit frustrating! I'm relying on OPKS (and maybe in the future BBT as well) to give some insight as to what my ovaries are doing in there!

My OPKs tell me to wait 10 minutes before checking the result. Does everyone do this? Because I know I don't. I pretty much just take the first reading and wait 30 seconds or so before binning it! Half of the time the one line is barely there. Maybe I'm not really human?

To those of you or have had positive OPKs in the past, how long does it normally take for the darker second line to show. Is it immediate? Just pulled my OPK out of the bin from earlier and I can see a faint second line that wasn't there when I binned it. Starting to feel a little silly for not waiting the time stated on the packet.
I usually look at mine in 3-5 minutes. If it's not positive by then it's not going to be. But it's taken me a few months to work that out. Someone else might be different. I also use Oracle Fertility OPKs. I use 2 a day when the line starts to get darker otherwise I'll miss the surge. Maybe give them a bit longer or try a different brand?

Butterfly - sorry you had a bad day yesterday. Hopefully today is better.

    Sorry, rant now over, lol.
Sorry butterfly I misquoted lol! I know how you feel! We're looking like having to do Ivf/icsi. $8k we cannot afford hope your having a better day today

    Hi Ladies

Im not sure if some of you remember me...i stopped ttc in december as DH had enough of the heartache of no bfp, but he has agreed to try until July before he goes ahead with the snip. I already have 3 beautiful kids but we have now ttc#4 for 19 months, 12 months actively.

Channy - best of luck hun my fingers are crossed!
Waiting, bubbles and butterfly - so sorry to hear you are still trying, it surely is your time soon.

I hope you all dont mind if i rejoin this thread, it kept me from going crazy last time.
