    OP you said when it comes school time he will be going to one school only. How will you manage this? Will you or your ex move closer to one another?

    My daughter went to two different 3 year old kinders. She did one day a week in one and two in another. That was what was available and suited my work days. It wasn't a problem at all. She's a flexible kid and liked the variety and having so many friends.

    Op, I think you should listen to the few posters who have actually done the two kinder thing. I mean, anyone can speculate, it doesn't mean they are right.

    Not one person who has replied has done 2 Victorian 4yr old kinders though?
    Pre-school, child care, 3yr old - yes.

    People are saying it is selfish to put him in to two different places, why would it matter if if was 4 year old kindy or long day care or whatever? Surely the emotional implications would be the same?

    I think the point though, is that the following year a decision will have to be made about his schooling.

    Absolutely. I think it was derailed a bit by the fact that the OP was specifically asking about two different 4 yr old kinders, which would be near impossible to achieve in Vic.
