Oopadayz.. I'll friend request you & get em to add ya. I'll inbox u the info. And anyone else whos interested & due in sept.
Yeah I know I had my heart set on going to Werribee, considering it is 7 mins down the road, against traffic and I have friends who went there and said it was amazing. If the royal women's wasn't zoned I would've gone there as high risk. I agree that everything is up the creek, I hadn't had much to do with the public system and it was eye opening, I think you just have to be in charge and not be afraid to speak up if you're not happy with something.

Hope no one takes offense to that term, Bogan, it's just a joking term I use with my partner, the western Bogans!
Sorry I'm on my phone and I don't know how to just respond in one post! Only newish on here!! So apologies!!

Yes I am a local 'boganite', live in Altona meadows. I'm not sure I will ever call myself a westie though. My hubby and I are from gippsland and then moved to mentone for 8 years so I don't quite consider myself a westie yet!!

I hope you have a good experience like I did, there were moments of OMG when I was in hospital but I think that was more being a ftm and being not well (narrowly avoided a blood transfusion) and a little overwhelmed. I def had my fave midwives, I had them a few times cos of my length of stay!

Where abouts in Gippsland Shell, I too have lived out there for many years. I got sick to death of living with Xmas in my boot because of the bush fires!

Royal Womens will take high risk pregnancies from anywhere, so if I were you I would apply there. I was told to apply but was rejected based on the fact they said my specialist would be at sunshine so I should stay with her

I sometimes go to point cook shopping centre but I'll only go with dp driving, I Hate driving in the traffic lol. My ds's kinder is near hoppers crossing and I hate the traffic there right on school pick up hours too I not long got my licence so being thrown into Melbourne suburb traffic was a shock
Same I grew up here, it sure has changed a lot. I didn't know about werribee south tho I thought that would stay all farm land

    Good morning all

How did everyone sleep through last night's heat? I had one of the worst nights sleep ever and so did DD. She has been crabby all morning and has thankfully just gone down for her nap so I can now quickly shower! (after bubhubbing first, of course )
Thank god today is cooler. I didn't even leave the house once yesterday as I didn't want to put DD in the hot car.
Watching Yo Gabba Gabba! lol... I love that show! Quirky and cool, DD fell asleep watching it haha which is unusual for her because she enjoys the colours and music but again it's from the heat and bad sleep.
    Have a nice day guys

It was horrible wasn't it. Such a relief to hear the rain this morning. Surprisingly didn't sleep too bad though. Ugh doing the school and kinder pick up yesterday arvo was not fun, but rest of the day was spent hibernating and eating ice cream lol

Yep same here - both DS and I slept badly, and we have aircon! I get up enough at the moment to pee, I surely didn't need the extra wakings last night! Thank god it's cooler today

I had the worst night ever. I slept funny on my neck/shoulder & its knotted that bad i cant turn my head, bend over, lift anything or lift my arm above my head. Im no sook with pain & it brought tears to my eyes this morning as i tried to dry my hair :-(

Pesca77.. Two weeks away hey! Hopefully we dont get too many more hot weather days. March is when I was due with DS1, and with no aircon & weighing 112 kgs & filled to the brim with fluid & an 11lb baby i swore black and blue that i'd never have another 3rd trimester summer again lol

I think I'd have a heartattack if told I was going to have a big baby! My DS1 was 8pound and that was hard enough getting him out
