Please don't judge or bash me. I'm asking for advice not a lecture.
Okay, we'll I'm 4 months pregnant and in finding it really hard to completely stop smoking. I have cut down from 5-6 a day to 1-2 a day. I no longer smoke at work, I only smoke one before work in the morning and one in the evening before bed. I was able to cut back, but finding it really hard to quit completely. It's so hard for me to function without a cigarette in the morning and I find I am thinking about it ALL day. I haven't tried any of the nicotine patches because I'm not sure if they are safe during pregnancy. It's even harder when my husband smokes, and he will bring his cigarette packet home and just leave them laying around! After I have told him numerous times to leave them somewhere else! Please help! I'm so worried, I don't want to harm my baby, but it's so hard! It's really doing my head in!
