Nayez - I hope you can get off the couch again soon!!! yes it does sound like we have had similar journeys so far (mine not as full on as yours though!) Yes, definitely had to rest with a little one running around. DD doesnt nap anymore either so trying to find things to keep her amused is fun.... NOT! Im lucky family have helped by taking her for 1/2 days every now and then so I can rest, and she goes to daycare on Thursdays. Im finding in the afternoon putting on a movie for her in the lounge room works. I shut the doors so she cant go anywhere, give her a snack and a drink and lay on the couch. At least then if I do go to sleep I know shes perfectly safe!! Bad parenting I know, but sometimes you just do what you have to do!!

Im super nervous about going back to work, with the previous bleeds (not bleeding atm thank GOD!) and being so sore when I walk - I swear Im walking like Im 38 weeks pregnant already Only my line manager knows at work. Im thinking I probably should inform the HR manager too (not that she needs to know for maternity leave or anything cos my contract finishes before then ) just more from a safety sake in case something happens I guess. I work in a high school so Im trying to keep it quiet from students as long as possible cos I know once it gets out.... god help me!!

Hows everyone going with eating / cooking? I want to eat healthy but this bubs just doesnt seem to agree with me GRRR. Ive lost all interest in cooking too (which sucks cos Im a cooking teacher whoops!!). Needing some new family-friendly healthy meals to inspire me... anyone got any ideas they want to share?

Hope everyone is having a relaxing weekend.

    Hi all!

Sorry I have been quiet recently. Its been a crazy few weeks :what: work, study and fatigue.

I am 12 weeks today hurrah!! My morning sickness has increased in the last few days which has been hard to keep going at work and study. Fingers crossed its a great sign that bubs is going awesome.

My little belly is def becoming more rounded. I think coming off a stim cycle with mild ohss I still have a fair bit of bloating but I can def see the little rounded section under my belly button.

Clucky - I too am hoping to get back into the gym this week and start yoga!

Anyone else thinking of doing any of the Les Mills classes?? I was thinking pump with low weights and modifications recommended by the trainer?

Nayez - glad to hear you can go back to work soon and the bleeds have settled!!

Chacha and Bindy - gorgeous bumps!

Waiting - Sucks about the hip pain x re recipes.... I am also struggling with healthy foods, maccas has been my friend unfort! I have had recently been having....

    Savoury mince with veges.
    Tacos.
    Beef or chicken faijitas.
Grilled lamb cutlets, steamed sweet potato or rice and beans. I have put korma paste on the cutlets and served with natural yoghurt/mint.

Hope you all have a good rest of your weekend x

Resting with little one is hard. My 15mth old is every where at the moment and he's been sick for about 3weeks know. Can't image having complications as well. My husband is in a global roll so he works all hours. He's going away for 2 weeks to the USA for work next week so it will be interesting how I cope😰
With food and cooking, I'm the same. Normally I love cooking, but could not be bothered or interested in cooking at the moment. And have no idea what to eat.
Anyway, glad to hear that it's improving for some. I'm 14weeks tomorrow and have my first OB appointment on Tuesday. Haven't felt sick for a couple of weeks. Popping out too. Love all the pics of bellys. Time is flying.

    Default eating

    OMG - eating/cooking - blurrrrk!
I live on carbs carbs carbs and veg. Nothing with any flavour as it just makes me sick - I had a maccas hamburger (well actually I had 2 1/2!) a couple of weeks ago - and I STILL gag at the memory!

I live on plain pasta with fresh tomato, plain toast with vegemite, boiled potato and pumpkin, and the odd piece of fruit toast or scone - soooooo over it!
Definitely worse than my last preg. i just read what some of you are eating/craving and I got so jealous!

Lucky for me (not) I am not allowed to cook/clean up - so I don't have to worry about whether or not I feel like cooking - I am not allowed to do anything - yep, you read that right - no washing/ironing/cooking/cleaning/lifting! BORED BORED BORED!

In regards to the pump classes - I did them in my last preg up till the end...just low weights, and a tilt cushion for when you lay down so you are not flat on the bench.

Otherwise - the bump continues, with still no more complications - except the WORST constipation ever - OMG..I think I am going to get a bowel obstruction - holy moly......

I had an 8 week scan to confirm the pregnancy and that it was a singleton, then I had a 12 week scan to check babies progress and most people get a NT check at the same time during this scan which is more measurements (checking for defects and doing a downs syndrome and other defects risk assessment). The next normal scan is at 20 weeks.

AFM next scan is tomorrow at 14 + 4 to check on blood around the placenta and cervical length as I may need a stitch due to my close call with cervical cancer and having a fair amount of my cervix removed. Sorry if TMI

    Hey newbee,
my IVF clinic wanted scans at 7, 10 ans 12. First one was for numbers, second for growth and third..well, I guess NT and growth rates.
My obs was happy with just 7 then 12 (except I then had bleeding).
each clinic seems to have different techniques.
