Anything over 30 is good, but like hcg, progesterone should rise throughout early pregnancy.

Congrats Elkalemi. Agree with the girls. Anything over 30 is good. The extra pessaries won't hurt.

It is so nice to read so many positive outcomes from the IVF roller coaster ride! My thoughts go out to those with not so positive stories. After 4IVF/ICSI cycles we finally have our positive . Due 11 October, scan at 6 wks (heart beat) and 8 wks 5days (moving around). Next scan on the 2April. Would love to join this group. Is anyone staying with the OB who did the IVF? And I've not had a single blood test, is this unusual?

Congrats Roch! I only had the one BT too, because my levels were good they didn't see the point. They won't change anything (unless you're low in prog, prog support can save a pregnancy).

I will have my first scan at 7 weeks and then nothing til 12 weeks. I will be moving into the public system once my clinic let me go forth and be pregnant.

I'm still very scared about my first scan, desperately hoping to see a little heart beating away. But there's no point in not enjoying this time so I'm just hoping for the best and growing my bub as best I can!

Thank you rainbow road. It is the best feeling seeing and hearing that little heartbeat. Good luck with your scan the hardest bit is waiting. Wishing you paitence and luck. (You'd think we would be so use to waiting as that is all I seemed to do while on IVF.) I've only done the HPT (I had a holiday booked after the transfer so they gave me a HPT to do.) The OB hasn't even ordered a blood test to go with the NT scan that he is doing.... Oh we'll he must know what he is doing- he's got me this far. I can't wait for the 2nd trimester, nausea 24/7, I'm eating constantly to keep it away. I'll be as big as a house if it doesn't stop soon.

Congratulations , our due date is close . I havnt had a blood test since I was told I was preg. I have one tomorrow for the NT test then a scan next week. I didn't even ask if my specialist was also a obstetrician as I had already decided on one elsewhere .

Clucky I hope you can get in for a scan today to put your mind at ease. I had a little bit of blood and no pain about wk8 but all was fine on the scan. Sending you positive thoughts.
