I had my first antenatal appointment with my GP and student midwife this arvo. I now have my 'orange book' to carry with me always and got some good positive vibes about my team. Student Midwife Mandi is beautiful and came back home for coffee and stayed with us chatting for a few hours. I love how she will make sure my hubby gets to 'deliver' the baby after she has made sure it's safe and turned into the right position to do so.

We are so excited about our choice to do GP care and limit hospital visits, it really suits us with all our hospital stuff with my health and heart etc. Can not wait for the 12 week scan! Feeling like I'm on cloud 9 ATM

I have no idea how you are coping with that line of work at the moment KnittingNancy and a warm welcome to the newcomer Rainbow

I just had another OB appt and she did a 4d ultrasound it was amazing!!! Our little embie had its hand in its mouth sleeping. The OB poked my tummy a few times to wake it and it bounced off one end of my uterus and was jumping around before rolling over and putting its hands up to its eyes and going back to sleep! She records every ultrasound for us on DVD so I can't wait for our 3hr drive home to watch it again!!

I am just so amazed that it is doing all of these amazing things already and is such a real little beautiful baby!! My goodness I am sooo in love!!!!
