Gotta go back and clean old house tomorrow. what fun on Easter Sunday! Looking forward to sorting out the nursery next weekend, as it's all in boxes still at the moment. It'll be my treat to myself once everything else more immediate is done.

I should be asleep by now but my anxiety is high as DH doesn't feel well. Says he feels nauseous so has gone to sleep but as I have a phobia of these things I am laying here worrying! Hope I can relax enough to sleep soon!
Congrats on the move!!! Hope you settle in to your new place quickly

My DH has been unwell aswell. Last night he was nauseous, high temp but said he was freezing bi was panicked cause at home stage his eyes kept rolling into the back of his head bye slept most of the day and is feeling better now. Hope our DH is better soon.

How is everyone's long weekends going?

We have started painting the nursery. I can't wait to set everything up

Hi everyone!!! Hope u all had a fantastic Easter break!!

I have a super quick question....So this maybe a TMI but during the 8hr drive home from Broome the pregnant lady needs to pee on the side of the road every now an again, glamorous yes, I haven't had to squat to pee in a long time and this time felt extremely weird with ALOT of pressure and felt like the baby was just there, it felt terrible lol!
    Any ideas? Is this normal?

Hi choccie! I would think given your bubs is mostly engaged that would be normal but don't have any medical training. I know they encourage you to squat and kneel in prep for labour.

Hope u had a lovely birthday!

    :-)

Hi ladies, check in time .
I'm doing ok. Very tired and quite unwell. Apparently it's common to have nasty coldsores after spinal morphine (which I had) so half of my chin is covered in huge itchy blisters

My stomach is still very swollen and sore and I currently look about 5 months pregnant which is lovely and I have to literally carry my stomach around when I walk because it's so sore. But I'm not walking much if I'm honest. It just plain hurts too much. I had a wound drain put in when I had the c-section and unfortunately it got firmly stuck in the couple of days before it was removed.

When it finally DID come out after several yanks by one midwife, it was agonising. DH was sitting with me when the midwife with the least amount of empathy IN THE KNOWN WORLD came in to remove it and he said that he's never heard me yelp like that ever.
I've heard that noise come from me once before in my life and it was when I dislocated my elbow.

Obviously it had to be done but wow. So I've been having a bit of trouble when it comes to healing but I'm getting there slowly . Flynn is doing great although we had a very rough night last night. Bub just wanted to be held all night. Petty troublesome for me because my wound won't let me move properly.
    Ahh well, we're getting there

Thanks! Birthday in Broome was fantastic!!
I will have to squat again soon and not really looking forward to it lol, I keep having dreams that my waters break and I go into labour at the most inconvenient times, like now on the way home from Broome 4 hours from the nearest hospital lol

Eko, my SIL had masses of cold sores after her c sections.

Sounds like you're in a bit of pain. Have they given you much for it?

I'm glad Flynn is doing well.

Choccie hopefully it's just a sign that bubs is engaged. Glad u enjoyed ur birthday.

Eko, you poor thing. Sounds really uncomfortable. Can ur dh stay with u in hospital or do you do have to look after flynn alone?
Fingers crossed u can have something for the pain. How is ds1 liking Flynn?

    Hope everyone is enjoying Easter.
