I wanted to be a full time SAHM but after 8 months of it with DS I was ready to work part time, with my mum looking after him for two days. It's lovely eating lunch at work in peace reading my book or chatting with the girls rather than wiping sticky hands and faces! I'm currently working 4 days now he's bit older but want to reduce that after this baby to maybe 2 or 3 days. Best of both worlds. But I won't go back too soon and will preferably have a year at home if we can afford it. I am the higher earner, boo.

I really wish I enjoyed staying at home full time, but it is so exhausting that I find going to work is a break! I really admire those mums who stick it out full time for years, good on ya I say!
    I completely agree!!!!

That's lovely news, Nila. One of each, perfect!

Well i am on my way home from work after being blocked from leaving a room, threatened and almost assaulted by a client at their residential placement. Two stupid 15 year olds. Work were really supportive, we'll be putting in place a safety plan tomorrow. My job sucks sometimes, especially when pregnant! Wish I could have a couple of glasses of wine tonight!

does not sound like a good day. I have had to be a bit forceful with work. I work in community rehab in mental health as non clinical staff but recently the non clinical staff have been doing shifts up at Acute mental health inpatient and also secure mental health with forensic clients. They wanted to send me until I refused. Said I wasn't risking my baby. They tried to argue with me but think they got the point. (mind these are the same people who told me off for getting on a table at 14weeks to write on the whiteboard) Glad your work is supportive though

Congrats nila, your intuition is correct... Until confirmed at next scan for sure. Very exciting for you!

Bond - sounds like an awful day for you. Have some chocolate instead of wine... Not quite the same but treat yourself.

Yes I think we are all rather concerned about J. It's not like her to not touch base. I hope her and bubs are ok.
