Anyone know which nasal sprays are safe to use? I'm sick of not being able to breathe! I have been told before but I can't remember.
Decongestant nasal sprays such as Dimetapp, Otrivin (anything with oxymetazoline as the active ingredient) are perfectly safe to use in pregnancy. Because they are delivered locally to the nasal passages, the absorption into the general circulation is minimal. Much better than cold and flu tablets, which I would avoid.
    Hope that helps.
    J x.

Quickly trying to catch up. Have a very moody toddler today.

Yay Bondgirl for the baby girl! I don't blame you for using your lunch realty buy some girlie clothes. I think I did the same when we found out DD was a girl.

Eko I hope you and your DH feel better soon and that baby stays put until your cs date.

i would love to know how MyLittleStar and little Max are going

Sorry you're feeling sick, Eko. What bad timing!

I had some good news today, we have been accepted on the rental house we saw last night! Finally we have somewhere! Moving in on April 1st. It's a beautiful place with great garden. Much better condition than many rentals, very well finished and looked after. I am very happy but now trying to contemplate the mammoth task of packing and moving!

DH and I both feeling exhausted after another bad night with DS waking at 2am demanding we lie down with him again. I think most toddlers go through a bad sleep stage but just hope it ends soon! Need to look into a method to overcome it. Will move him from a toddler bed to single bed when we move in so I can convert toddler bed back into a cot and get the nursery organised!

Had my scan today - we have a jellybean with a heartbeat!!! Measuring 6w6d (a couple behind but thats ok) heartrate was 144bpm. So happy The clinic are being extra cautious and because my FS was away today they want me to go back for another scan next week for her to have a look to see what might be causing the bleeding. They were more than happy to ship me off with a referral to the OB and a baby-bag though so Im not too concerned

No, it was a teddy bear with a little suit on with the FS logo on it, some ginger tea and some belly balm. Quite sweet really! I saw another couple walking out with it at the same time as us, they saw ours and grinned
