    Hello everyone!

Waiting; that bhCG value certainly sounds promising. It is very unlikely to represent a failed pregnancy or ectopic, so I think you can be somewhat reassured until your scan.

Eko; how's the reflux? I noticed that Safeway also sells the 150mg ranitidine tablets for around $9.00.

As for nightwear in hospital, I remember Maternity Wards are usually quite warm (to help keep the babies toastie), so I will be taking something light. Also needs to be easy to get one's boobies in/out (or breasts, if you prefer ). I am actually struggling to find Maternity trakkie pants at the moment. I remember last time I bought quite a few from Target and Kmart, but this time the selection seems very limited.

I had fun shopping on the weekend. We looked at double-prams, and we are probably going to convert our iCandy Apple into an iCandy Pear (bassinette plus toddler seat). We bought a pink baby bath, a new waterproof change table insert, pink cradle sheets and blanket, pink muslin wraps, and another 4 really cute size 000 jumpsuits...pink and white, of course. My husband just laughs at me.

We have also moved Oscar into his new room, and big boy bed. My husband spent the weekend assembling his bed, and we put car/plane/train stickers on the walls, and he has a Thomas the Tank quilt cover, and a car-shaped cushion. Looks good. He is fascinated by his new room, but his first night last night was very trying. He kept escaping, and so in the end we just had to shut the door...he ended up sleeping on the floor, for reasons best known only to him! Will try again tonight. Anyone else had/have this problem? He needs to be settled before June!

    J x.

J, sounds like the shopping was fun. You may as well go all out on pink stuff, given you're having a girl this time.

Good luck with settling Oscar before June.

FelH - So glad things are going well, being off work probably would do wonders for your blood pressure *chuckle*. How are you doing keeping yourself entertained?

waiting - Awesome news that your levels are rising That's definitely a good sign and I'm sure that the bleeding must just be something unrelated.

maybee baybee - Hiccuping is so awesome in the early days. I remember giggling to myself with this bub because he gets them so often that to begin with it was really cute. Now... Not so much lol. But that's only becasue it's really quite violent. Speaking of which, guess who's just now decided to go on another hiccuping spree.

Lil Smurfy - Weird about the bug feeling, that sounds really strange. Wonder what that was all about.

LilPetal - I thought this bub was more active too, but someone pointed out to me that because I'm quite a lot smaller than I was last time I probably just don't have the excess fat insulating the way I did last time. Then again this bub might be bigger too, who knows?

J37 - I've actually been ok with the reflux thankfully! I bought some quick eze last night and it seemed to be enough. I prefer to stick to the simpler stuff if I can just because then I have something to fall back on so I figured I'd try the quick eze again and it's been enough. So far. I LOVED the look of the iCandy prams and apparently they're great. Oscar must be so excited about his new bed *grin*. I wouldn't worry about the floor sleeping thing, DS did it too for his first couple of nights. Once he got used to the change it was no biggy to him

Sorry if I've missed someone again, I'm sure I have. I always manage to *chuckle*.

AFM - I've had a development. Yesterday when I was standing in the kitchen I had a massive THUD directly on my cervix. And it wasn't just a thud, there was a really sharp pain like I literally had someone trying to push their head out, I could feel the joints separating from it!
It was bad enough that I had to lean on the counter and I couldn't walk for a minute or so because it hurt so much.

I decided not long after to go to the shops to pick up a few things and the whole time my pelvis really hurt and it kind of felt like I had a bowling ball trying to fall out. So bub definitely locked in.
But then today I haven't felt that real bowling ball sensation so it seems he's pulled his head in *chuckle*. Which is good news for me, going into labour early won't necessarily cause problems but it's not the plan heh.

They rang back... I need some advice! The clinic has offered to move the scan to Friday (Ill be just over 7 weeks). 2 things though.... my FS wont be available to do it (will be done by one of the sonographers there), and Im worried about not being able to see anything... They have offered if they cant that they can do a repeat scan on my original scan date. So... do I go ahead at just over 7 weeks, or just wait until my original scan date (friday week) when Ill be just over 8 weeks???? I want to go ahead to get some peace of mind but am scared of the stress of having to go back for a 2nd scan if they cant see anything...

I'd be going with the earlier scan (because I'm impatient). My first scan was at 6w 5d and I saw a blob with a heartbeat. That was an internal scan though. If they can do yours vaginally, I'd do it. If you are going to spend the next 2 weeks worrying anyway, I think it's worth the risk, because there is a chance you will see something.

Others might have differing opinions on that.

I second that opinion. If it were me I'd want the earlier scan done too. Stressing does nothing but cause problems and at least that way you might have some reassurance.

Besides, is there any reason why they can't schedule a second appointment for the standard 8 week mark scan as well? Given your history you'd think they'd be happy to provide a second scan.
