That's no good. So are you on bed rest until Tuesday?

yep I'm on bed rest till Tuesday then who knows how long after that. I prefer being on bed rest though now because I don't think work would be helping with this situation.
I'm going to see my GP this afternoon to get him to check my blood pressure coz I'm a nervous wreck!
    Fingers crossed its gone down

Ok time to play catch ups

Bond Girl, your poor DH! I hope he's feeling better soon. What a rotten situation for you too though Good luck with the new rental. Hope you get it!

MyLittleStar, I PMSL at your feeling like a porn star! Bet your DH is loving the new look . I hope your DD settles soon

Eko, your reflux sounds horrid! I hope the tabs that J37 recommended help immensely!

ToniS, sorry to hear about your gallstones. What a drag! Both my mum and sister had to have their gall bladders removed because of stones but I was lucky enough to skip that one. I know they can be terribly painful so take care of yourself

Lilsmurfy, wow 20 weeks! Yay for feeling bubs on the outside! I'm 28 weeks and don't get to feel my girl much from the outside and poor DH never gets to feel her. She can be kicking away like a maniac but the minute DH puts his hand on me, she scurries back! Very cheeky little thing but ohhh so cute! The only time DH gets to feel her is if he puts salsa music on his iPhone because she goes nuts when that's on. Must be our South American blood

J37, just had to say thank you for all the great info you give everyone. We're so lucky to have you!

FelH, I know it's easier said than done but TRY not to stress. If your OB told you not to worry then don't worry. They see this all the time and as hard as it is for you as you feel confused and upset, they know what they are doing. Stress will make your blood pressure rise so try to relax and enjoy the bed rest

Hi to any lovely ladies I missed

AFM not much to report. My cheeky girl has been very quiet the last few days and was starting to freak me out but she just gave me a whole bunch of kicks just under my right boobie so I'm guessing she's head down.
DH and I are painting the nursery this weekend so very excited

I just tried to get an appointment and they told me the new vaccines aren't available until mid march. Guess I'll worry about that in a couple of weeks

    J.
Seems to have worked a treat, thank you SO much for the suggestion J! Quick question though, it says on the box to only have two within 24 hours. I had 2 at about lunchtime and I feel like I should have more now because I can feel it starting to sneak up on me again.
Should I wait until just before I go to bed at about 9pm? Or is it ok to take it earlier to keep the effect going all night?

Hope you have no pain today.
That makes it worse, you could at least feel like a sexy porn star haha. Pain much better today.

AFM - Bub seems to be keen on causing me troubles. We went to Coles to pick up some stuff and at least four times I had this awful pain in my hip. You know when a joint needs to crack but it won't? Yep. In my hip. OUCH! lol. Must have looked really funny because I was standing there swinging my hip trying to get it to crack and it wouldn't .
Showers are part of my birth plan. I know that having a shower is effective pain relief for me.
I get that needing to crack feeling in my hip sometimes. I find if I sit down bring my feet sole to sole and try and get my knee towards the floor that my hip will often crack.

AFM, 20 weeks today. Not much happening. I feel pretty good apart from a bit of heartburn. I can feel bub kicking me now and can feel her on the outside. She is stubborn and won't kick when DH is around. I'm waiting for my bump to become more pregnancy like and less fat like.
Yup normally I need fairly strong pain killers when I have an attack of the gallstones.
Yay for 20 weeks. Glad you can feel bubs kicking, its the best feeling.

The incredibly long waiting list for surgery here is insane. But I can't afford to claim it on private health. Thankfully diet seems to keep most of the symptoms at bay
Yay for painting the nursery. I need to paint our nursery but its still too humid up here.
