J soooooo glad to have you back!!

Nawww hugs Toni. Hope you feel better soon

AFM, I'm becoming increasingly overwhelmed with how much a baby costs! I've easily spent $5000 on baby stuff. Granted probably things I'll never use but still! I have two checklists I downloaded from Google and I'm not even all the way through them!

Finally got the nursery paint yesterday so next weekend we're doing the painting. Yayyy! Once that's done we can finally lay the new charcoal flooring

ETA: I've only got 12 weeks and 3 days until bubs arrives .. OMG!!

Wow $5000 sounds like heaps. I'm trying to think about 1 item at a time and not the bigger picture, or it'll overwhelm me.

I am a list junkie Lilsmurfy and terribly OCD so I started months ago jsut getting one item a week but it's drawing nearer and I just don't feel anywhere near ready!

I also have DH's birthday present to pay for (which I don't want him to know about so I'm hiding the savings) and because it's a rather large expense, I'm freaking out a little considering I only have 8 weeks of work left
It's probably the last present for quite awhile that I'll be getting him with money I earn so I wanted it to be a big one

Oh and my ob bill is due this week (all $2500) of it so it just seems to have all come at once. We're very lucky that we can pay it all but it still stresses me out to see so much money go out the door.

I was mean and banned birthday presents this year. Both our birthdays are in January. We had a cruise coming up and loads of baby expenses, so I banned it. I've got another month and then my ob fee is due ($2775). I think DH would have been thrilled if I'd gone public as it would have been a lot cheaper.

I'm usually a list and organizational freak, but I'm trying not to think of the costs involved, or I'll probably start stressing.

I really want to start getting things now, so I don't have too much to think about later on. We've got our cot and set it up, and have picked the pram and capsule we want, so they will probably be the next things we buy

Luckily, when you have your second child you don't have such an expensive out-lay. But we still have to buy another baby capsule and pram, as the ones we had for Oscar were second-hand, and had outlived their life. Plus, I want to buy some pink sheets for the cradle, and I want new pink clothes of course!!

And we need a new chest of drawers, a "big-boy bed" for Oscar...Hmmm, maybe this will be more expensive than I thought!!

Toni, I hope you are keeping your fluids up; dehydration will worsen a headache, and make it harder to treat.

    J x.

Yep J drinking lots of water, I always do. I think its a reaction to some insect bites I have received as I often react quite negatively to bites. Feeling cruddy all day but have slept a fair bit so hopefully a good sleep tonight and I will be right again. 22 weeks tomorrow. Starting to go a bit quicker I think.

    Ftm! You are
Super organised! I have only been buying stuff if its on sale! I am putting away money each fortnight for expenses such as ob fee, pram, car seat etc. I also try to think really hard if we will need something prior to buying it. There is so much stuff you can get.

    Tony hope your feeling better.

Lilsmurfy you are organized compared to me. We have done nothing on the cot front. I have Ekos list for what to take to hospital (printed it that is) and the Stuff we have been given and thats It!

J lovely to have you back,

    Mylittlestar how's the gorgeous Max
    Going?

    Don't have time for lots
Of personals. But hope you are all well
