My ob has given me the drink. She said to drink it then just turn up at the blood place about 15 minutes before the hour is up, to make sure that right on the hour they take my blood

Sorry for the newbie question here... but how soon do you book into a GP to confirm and get blood tests?

    AF was due today.

I went the day AF was due. My GP said there was no need to do a blood test based on the FRER and digital test I showed him, and gave me my referral for an ob.

Are you going public or private?

Think I may buy a digital tonight just so I can see that wonderful little word! I will call up and book in for tomorrow as I won't be able to get off work early today and then I can show her my collection of pee sticks

Probably going public at this stage The thought of the private bills scare me!

Private is definitely expensive. A friend of mine said the other day that the gap for her epidural was $550. I wasn't expecting that, I best start saving just in case I want one.

Far out! Shouldn't be so expensive but I guess you do get better care and more scans ect.

I will go public for the first and if I don't like it then I can always go private for the second! First babies are much more expensive buying everything to set him/her up.

If I have a girl I will go poor just buying cute little clothes
