I'm going to the mater but my OB's management fee was $2200... I think most OB's that practice at the mater have pretty high fees..

I dont know if he is still at the mater, or what his management fee is anymore, but if Alexander Alexander is still there - he is a beautiful OB

Agree with pp. management fees are high up there.
That said I would recommend the Arrivals practice. They are awesome!!!! They are a group practice (you can google them to find out more). I had Dr Bretz all the way through my pregnancy but saw the other doctors when in hospital too. I can't speak highly enough of them.
Management fee is $2200 if I remember.

Brenda Biggs at the Mater. She was just fantastic. Her management fee was $1800 and her visits were around $70. I just loved my experience with her after going public with the first.

I know he's now at Greenslopes not sure if he's working at both.

Op Greenslopes is opening at the end of this month, it's only a few minutes down the road with some fantastic OB.
I'm with Brad Armstrong who has been great so far. He only charges $1500 ( that's before Medicare so rebate on that too)

Edit: and his visits are bulk billed

I love Dr Cattanach. He has an easy going relaxed nature about him and I that suits you he is your man!

He delivered my daughter and it was great. He supported me wanting a natural birth and was very much my own little cheerleader. The nurses seemed to love him too which I think it alway positive.

I needed a D&C and he did that as well when my daughter was only a few weeks old. I was terrified but he made me feel better.

I became pregnant again (going on 20 weeks now) and had to have an operation in the first few weeks, he did it for me coming in on a Sunday afternoon from home! I was once again scared going in as I just wanted to be at home with my husband and daughter, he told me it was his job to look after me and was very reassuring.

I have seen him also when I have bled (many times) and he always got me in for a quick scan on the same day, all times were fine (low placenta) but he liked to reassure me.

We also got some high risk back in some tests and he explained it all to us while being very clear and fair to leave the choice up to us.

I'd highly recommend him!! while he is easy going when he needs to jump into action he does with authority. Check his holidays as he seems to take fairly frequent ones.

His management fee last time was $3k. He usually runs fairly close too time too.

Mater is great, we loved it!

I used Dr Doug Keeping in 2010, can't recall what his fees were, but he was wonderful.
