    Default Braxton hicks

    So this is baby three.
I realise Braxton hicks happen all through pregnancy and generally aren't felt till the later stages.

However it just occurred to me sometimes when I turn over in bed my whole abdominal area tenses I would have just said a cramp but its not cramp like... It's like 5/10 seconds of my tummy tensing I'm only 10weeks so it seems unusual to be feeling BH this early but seeing as to my third I have an obvious bump already ( couldn't even hide it at work it's that obvious)

    What do you think !?

I had BH start somewhere between 6 and 8 weeks with dd2 and about 8-10 weeks with dd1. So yeah it can happen.

And they felt exactly like you described with dd2 but more cramp like with dd1. Good news for me though, dd2 birth was relatively painless. Contractions felt exactly like the tightenings you described.

OP, I'm getting BH type feelings as well, and I'm only 8 weeks. I felt them with DS very clearly from 20 weeks.
