wow, clearly I am disgusting. I just moved our bed and all our bedroom furniture last week to vacuum under it. Its the first time since we moved in 2 years ago . Far out it was foul. It took me about 90 minutes to vacuum and dust the skirting boards, window sills etc.

The room was so lovely and clean that I took the ipad in there and sat in the room instead of the loungeroom when the kids were in bed.

Am going to try and do it a little more often from now on.

BTW - the kids rooms get done often because I am forever changing their rooms around.

Default How often do you clean UNDER your furniture?

Some of you have put me to shame!

I found a dead cockroach and some christmas beetles. I've promised myself I'll do it more often, or at lease con DH into doing it for me...

furniture like lounge, table , tv cabinet at least once a week. big things like fridge and washing machine maybe twice a year unless i need to move them for some other reason. It is amazing what I find under the lounge.

Default Re: How often do you clean UNDER your furniture?

I do a quick vacuum daily, under the kitchen table daily, under our rug every 2nd day (2 small inside dogs) mop every 2nd day, under the recliners twice a week, couch once every week-fortnight. Ds' room twice weekly.

Everything else, when it gets moved or randomly inbetween.

Once a month but I've got tiles so if there happens to be dust bunnies they conveniently roll out for collection!
